Sure, i don't necessarily think you're a bad staff member but i am extremely disappointed in the way my situation was handled as well with the lack of general Runescape knowledge you have (while moderating the Runescape market).

I am not upset with the consequence of the entire situation. However, what i am upset about was the way it was dealt with. First off, i had no warning my thread was being locked. There was no information regarding the action availible, anywhere, to the extent of me reach out to other mods, trying to find answers, and no one knew. I was told my thread appeared to be locked because of the lack of information i provided (stickies) which was false, i read the entire process before publishing the thread.

I reached out to a few mods and the consensus was to report the thread and wait for the moderator to reply on it for my answers.

I was given no warning this was happening. Not an email, pm, reply to the thread, nothing.

Finally, after reporting my thread wulfspade reached out to me informing me he would be looking in to the situation (he handled it very well).

Once he found out, he sent me the message you sent him, instead of you sending me it yourself.

I can go on expressing how unprofessional and rude this is but I'll save us both the time reading as well as typing it

Also, in the email you tried making a point that a barrow pure is not a pure. I can also provide evidence and argue that barrow pures are in fact pures. The statement you made lead me to believe you feel any account with higher than one defence is no longer pure, in which case i would expect you to go through the entire pure market closing and moving threads for anyone selling their account over one defence. For someone attempting to clean up the market, runescape market, i would expect them to have a general knowledge within the pure community.

I do apologize for my two threads, I've seen barrow pures with double threads in both markets in the past as a guest. I was not aware this was not allowed, again, i do apologize.

I believe i may have came off a bit hostile to begin with. I was quite upset how rude the entire situation was.

Lack of Runescape knowledge doesn't impact at all on this case. Your account was 70 defense and therefore is classed as a main here on Sythe, hence why your thread in pures / skillers was locked. I've played RS long enough to know that a 70 defense account is classified as a barrows pure, however here on Sythe we don't do it that way.

It isn't protocol for us to PM users informing them that there threads have been locked, so I'm sorry that you feel you have been treated unfairly. I've just taken a look at the 07 Pures / Skillers section & Other Accounts and have noticed that there is no sticky informing users that 70 Def+ accounts are considered as "Other", this is something that I will rectify shortly.

The reason why you weren't PM'd with the reasoning behind the lock is because Wulfspade was in contact with you and I didn't feel like an additional PM was necessary.

If that is the case, you can report them via the "Report Post" button and their threads will be locked / moved accordingly.

Please help me understand how 70 defence (nothing more) does not qualify as a pure on a Runescape forum that follows the same general principles as the entire community. In simpler terms, according to Sythe standards;

Black pures
Initiate pures
Zerk pures
Barrow pures

Are, and would be classified as mains because they have defence levels. However, all of the following ARE considered pures excluding barrows pure, which are well known throughout the community as a pures - makes no sense.

I fail to see how a community so large (pkers) that consumes the majority of the Runescape population has been wrong about a classification of an account for so long.

I do appreciate you taking the time to correct this error for the near future, however, i will be disputing the misclassification.

In regards to personally contacting me - from what I've seen other sectional mods, along with globals, somewhat informing the publisher that they are the one locking their thread by simply commenting "locked" therefore publically familiarizing himself/herself with the author to impede confusion. Forgive my doltishness for thinking i would be given the same courtesy.

The classification of pures here on Sythe is different to how others may perceive it. We class anything under 70 defense as a pure, and anything above 70 (including 70) as a main, and therefore an "Other account".

If you wish to make a suggestion regarding this, take it to the suggestion forums. Until someone brings things to our attention, we are unable to do anything the majority of the time. We don't have eyes everywhere.

You're blowing this way out of proportion. The reason why you will barely ever see me post on peoples threads saying that I have locked them is because they're predominately on the 2nd page by the time I get to the report. If I was to post saying "Locked" etc, that would act in a way which bumps the thread to the top of the section when there is something wrong with the thread (hence the lock in the first place). We aren't a bureaucracy here on Sythe, each mod has their own style of moderation which would explain why I do this my way, and others do it their way.

Where do I start with prod, all I see is you slaying the reports day in and day out, I know you're flat stick with uni at the moment yet that still doesn't defer you from doing your job. Competent and good mod, A+.
