What are you studying as a profession?

Firefighting, but I'd hardly call it studying.

 

I'm sure it'll be great fun. I'm already a volunteer and have been for coming up on four years now. First truck man, live right next to the station. Do college, train for CPAT and PARE and hope for the best to find a job somewhere reasonably close to my home province.

 

I did a few years in Architecture, but it wasn't for me.

Also, merging this with the profession thread since it's literally the same thing.

 

My brother is a full time firefighter. Never went to college, got his job at 20 after being a paid on call for 3 years.

As for me, i got my degree in literature with a minor in math. I'm currently getting another degree in business.

Me too! He got a job in the city of Seattle, moved last year.

You should be able to write your gas off for taxes as it is a business expense.

That's legit. Closest station to my house was like 15miles away. But they were building a small one closer. But then we moved to Virginia. College it is for me

 

going to my final year in University studying Business Management with Accounting

 

I'm going into my third year studying Engineering at my community college. Third year because I changed majors after the first year and I will finish up my associates, therefore save a ton of money, before transferring.

 

Well I'm studying Biology. It doesn't make me happy, but money will make me happy.

 

Fellow biology major. How exactly do you expect to make money from it?

 

Going in to my 2nd year of a Genocide for Dummies course at University of Auschwitz, apparently it's being taught by a direct descendant of Hitler. It's a very enriching experience. Sieg Heil.
