I'm not sure what to say other than "I support" really.

I agree with all your points, it'd be a less stressful place for graphics artists to work on peoples requests than opening a "free gfx" thread and having 20 people posting all at once. Also it'd be nice for people to get some free graphics out of it.

Seems like a really cool idea, so again..support!

 

Idk this could put moonglare and ziggily and people out of buisness, but would be pretty sweet

 

People will still pay to get a GFX that they can change and discuss more in details.

I think free services section would bring more artists in our community.

If their quality can't exceed the quality of free graphics then they don't deserve to be in business(which I'm sure it does).

 

I support, but not 100% convinced.
If any starter wants to learn, he could just open a free graphics shop.
I don't really see the need for it.

 

Going to get a final decision on this. It seems like the community supports the idea so we'll hopefully have an answer from the staff on this within the next couple of days.

The section has been approved and created.

Just a warning to all users who plan on participating in this section, the staff has allowed post count to rise from posts in this section with the idea that people will be granting proper criticism and feedback. Posts such as..

"Great sig!"
"This sucks"
"I want a free one"
"Free sif pls"

Will earn you an automatic infraction and if posts like that continue then post count will be removed from the section entirely.

On that sour note... ( ) enjoy the new section and let's see some activity and some new artists! If anyone has any ideas for a proper sticky, feel free to let the stsff know.
