Suggestion a Larger Explanation...

When an admin tells me to make a post on the suggestion boards, in order to get a proper review from the admin staff, then another one closes it, and gives a response like a child... I move to suggest that you make a tangible response before closing... (n4n0)

Seriously... Is this some kind of joke, or do you really care that little? You are favoring other services for whatever reason... and refuse to even offer me the chance...

"Currently, I have been allowed to distribute my Unban Service to a single thread, while other services, such as gold selling services by the same company can distribute to every game. Prior, I had a post on all game forums that I serviced, and I was able to get a flow of people from this community whom needed my help, but now, I hardly get any.

I wish for my thread to be granted permission to post in multiple forums, so that people whom need it, can actually find it. People who got banned in Guild wars II, SWTOR, Diablo 3, or other games will not always be locating the Unban service they may require under the WoW Forums.

Right now, I service over 21 games, yet I HAVE to maintain a single post, in only the WoW section. I was told I could move it to Other Games, or Other MMOs, but that would cause the same issue as above. Why would a person from WoW think that a service they may need is under the Other Games Section.

I am merely asking to maintain a post, for each one of the games I service. It isn't every single forum section here, but it is a decent bit.

Each game requires its own set of approach, letter writing, and knowledge of the support team. I cannot just make one generic post, in one single section, and hopes everyone whom needs it finds its way. I feel as though currency sellers are a similar service, but yet they are permitted to do so. Yes, the currency is a tangible object in each game, but similar to me, they couldn't make a WoW gold selling post, and leave it in League of Legends Forums. They need to be in the sections that they work on in order to reach their target market, just as I do.

I am hoping to get this post accepted, so I can reopen some of my former posts that I had in other sections of the forums as well.

Support if someone wants to get unbanned from rs they aren't going to look in the wow section for it.

 

Support, I can't see any reason why he shouldn't be allowed to have a separate thread for each of his services pertaining to a different game. Its not like he's attempting to sell an account and putting up threads in multiple sections simply for post count, his threads are necessary for his business.

 

I agree with OP. He made a good argument, at least... if people are allowed to make threads selling EOC gold, 07 gold, and WoW gold... why not sell EOC unbans, 07 unbans, and WoW unbans?

 

Before I support I'd like to know what N4NO "discussed" with you. He is an admin here, so we may all be missing something Mind posting a summary of what he said?

 

I don't see why you couldn't. It's just like the buying and selling gold section, they need the threads to be in a different forum so people know where to look (exactly what you said). I don't see a problem.

But as ThenoisyJaguar said, what did you and N4no discuss?

 

I see both sides of the coin, it seems ridiculous to be able to have 8 different threads and constantly bumping them up/getting crazy post count BUT people are allowed to have a rsps gold shop, a wow gold shop, a rs3 gold shop, an 07scape gold shop, a diablo3 gold shop, a PoE shop etc.

I don't see a reason why he shouldn't be allowed but you've already heard a response from an admin so I'm pretty sure the answer is a simple no.

If I had services for 5 different games, advertising them only in one specific game's section is beyond retarded.

I had my posts locked originally, spoke with n4n0 and had all my posts locked because he felt it was stupid to have different threads, and I should put them all in one section, even though they are for all different games, and people wouldn't necessarily work there. After Speaking with The Black Tux, and some others, they made the suggestion to me to make posts with different titles, to show they are for different games, which I followed. (I did not do this to try and hide my posts, but I really thought it was what I needed to do in order to keep my posts form being locked.) They were then locked again because as I was told, which I later found out, The Black Tux just collects donations, and doesn't have a true say.

After all of that, another Admin told me to take it to the suggestion boards, so that people could make a decision and ruling on it, but then of course n4n0, who holds a grudge against me, makes a post and closes it immediately.

It isn't an absurd request... I am just trying to reach my target market, and help community members whom are banned. I am very happy to see that I have received a lot of support thus far from fellow community members, Grand Masters, and Ex Mods!

 

If I had a service for two games, I would definitely be posting it in BOTH sections. You can't expect someone to hold it to one forum, what Runescape player is ever going to look into the WoW section?

Support. I'm sure n4n0 misunderstood or there was some sort of miscommunication. If your services are not limited to a single game, then there shouldn't be an issue advertising them in other game sections that they are relevant to.

I suppose peoples responses might pressure N4N0 to reconsider but I really think you need to work it out with him directly OR just bite the bullet and not post the threads(I mean seriously, I doubt them to be very profitable and post count farms more than anything) OR PM one of the admins like Sythe or Govind or Matthew for a higher up's opinion.

 

I'm sure the staff is talking about it, no need to pressure anybody. Persistence is good, but you don't want to piss off the Admins.

If you have feedback about particular staff members you can use the feedback forum to discuss that. Our responses to suggestions can sometimes be short and to the point because we get so many of the same. Explaining and arguing why we shouldn't do something gets old after we have done it a few times.

 

Well to be honest, I just wanted my suggestion to have a chance, after it was an admin who told me to put it up. Then it just got closed without even letting anyone talk about it.
