vB - Why?

Not a single one of my posts contained an insult until you suggested here:

that I was merely asking my question because I was an idiot, at which point my posts pointed out the flaws in YOUR argument. I came in merely with a question that demanded an answer, and was not aiming to have a discussion about the merits of an actual move to MyBB until I was challenged. My OP was asking why sythe chose vB originally, and if you actually read that, this debate would have been over before it started with a one sentence answer of "I preferred the way vB organised itself and the out-of-the-box functionality it offered" rather than reminiscing about your investment into vB which is completely irrelevant.

I have not once insulted you, I have insinuated that if you spend a day coding with only 8 bug-free lines on a vB forum, you're doing something wrong. An insult would have been resorting to flaming or gross exaggerations. It was in fact YOU who started the insults between us, and I resent the fact that you claim it is the opposite that is true. I apologise if you feel as though this conversation is a directly aimed insult at you or your company, but it was intended as an intelligence-seeking question, and has resulted in you accusing me of wasting your time. I never put a gun to your head and forced you to respond. You responded of your own free will to my questions and replies, so you cannot accuse me of being the direct cause of your time being utilised in such a manner.

Because you can't prove a negative, which you're asking us to do. That's about the most elementary logical fallacy there is.
The bottom line is, we're satisfied with our current forum software, even if you aren't. You've done nothing but say "MyBB is better" and ask us to disprove it. Let's see:

• We can't disprove it (in the same way you can't disprove that God exists)
• We don't need to disprove it... to you, anyway.
