Mate if you're watching calories do the 5:2 day system. I did it Pre-tennis season to lose the extras I had put on during my time out (I like to let go for these couple of months). 5 Days of eating whatever you want, 2 days of only eating 600 calories.

Lost roughly 18 pounds in a month. Nuff said. I just didn't do heavy training on the 2 days as you feel exhausted otherwise. Back in shape using this + workouts in time for the opening season.

And yea, I watch everything I consume. No choice ;L

 

I've never had any concerns with losing weight, but if this works then I guess lol. My preferred method would probably consist of weightlifting because I love weightlifting lol.

 

We just gon' live off poppin' mollies.

 

Honestly works the treat. Rapid solution to get back in shape haha. And I enjoy lifting but can't do it too frequently because I still spend at least 6 hours/week just doing serving practice, so my shoulders can fuck up very easily. That on top of other hitting drills means I can't force anything so will just do 3 sets of 10 reps of 75kg when I go to the gym. Maintaining not increasing.

 

You still gotta work out your non-tennis hand haha... my buddy was doing tennis, bowling, and weightlifting and you could tell his right arm was stronger (coulda been a different workout too if ya know what I mean lol jk).

True though... I'd imagine cardio is good to workout for tennis players do the running left and right. Not sure... just talking out my bum lol.

 

I'm a 1 handed backhand player too, so there's a littler bit of a difference between the two arms haha. Just makes me look like someone who masturbated 24/7. Who knows, maybe I do?

It is a decent workout, but depends what you actually do. Most people have a little knock up with their friends and it's just for fun and you don't run that much, whereas a standard session for me I will hit about 15 baskets worth of balls, so near enough 500 shots, each one having to do a full recovery position before moving for the next shot etc... Probably makes no sense to you but that's when you feel the burn. I just do gym to maintain shape, tennis is actually a heavier workout. It's physically very demanding.

To compare it to members in the SF, Pl0xNate is a gym workout. Can be hard and a bit of a pain, whereas Tennis is the Fendle, physcially and mentally draining haha.
