How did you first get into Runescape?

Well when i was around 11 years old my best friend at the time from school showed me runescape i played for around a month and remember getting 40/40/40 combat stats at barbarian village then didn't play until another couple of months passed and my nabour started playing that's when i picked it back up and starting playing properly. How about you guys? when did you first start playing..

 

Around the same age I saw some kids at the library playing it on miniclip. At the time, miniclip had this game called "bug on a wire" and this robot-battle game which I eventually grew tired of, so I decided to check out Runescape. Damn, just looking back on it--those were the days...

 

I joined cause 2 friends of mine introduced me to the game. Back then I reallydidnt think it was fun, and took almost a week to complete tutorial island. I am happy I play the game though, no regrets so far. This was 6 years ago

 

My neighbors were pretending to play RS while on the school bus when I was in third grade. I told them they were acting weird since they kept on making exploding sounds, but they told me (no joke), "All the cool kids play Runescape" so I asked them what it was. Then later that day they came to my house to help me make an account and then I got hooked

 

I went to my friend's house and he was playing this game and it all started there.

 

Haha the old days of mini clip, that brought some memories back

 

When I was 7 my older cousins showed me it. I chopped wood at tutorial island for a good week lol

 

I saw a bunch of kids sitting in the internet-cafe and playing this, decided to try it out... It was back in 2004-2005.

 

My twin brother used to play it, and I would watch him. A year or so later, I decided to pick it up for myself. This was around eight years ago now, so probably 2005. Oh how times change.

 

I was over at my friends house and saw them playing this cool looking game and I wanted to play it so i started playing and ended up being a fucking beast at it, and within a few days i had an account that was better than both of theirs and they quit xD

 

A few guys in my class played it and they told me to sign up so I did
They all quit and I got addicted ... ;c

 

i found out when i went to the libary this guy sitting next to me was playing and i asked him what game it was and he showed me , got me started been playing ever since then which was 5 years ago

My firend played it and then I started to play.

 

Saw a friend playing it at school (classic). Tried it out, found it entertaining, and began playing.

 

A friend was over my house after school one day, and he got on my computer
and started playing. I just watched until he left, then I made my own account.

 

My friend started playing it back when you could kill knights for phats in classic, he soon left the room and I started playing it and couldn't stop. This was 02-03

 

Exact same... :| ahahaa

That robot game was the shit, where you could customize your robot then war against other ppl... Bug on a wire was fun too hahah, I was really into Last Christmas 2 at that time...

but ya I remember playing past tutorial island and being amazed that there was a whole world past the island, as all the games on miniclip were very blunt; rarely having a detailed back story and even rarer having an expansive map.. even if the game play does admittedly suck on rs, i think the social aspect is what really drew me to it. inb4 loner.

 

10 years old, my friends got me into it back in 2007. long story short, none of em play nor have they for years. i was the last one to start playing and im still going till now!
