Hey everyone, my friend is starting a new business selling his own brand of sunglasses, and he wanted me to ask you all a few questions. Please take the time to answer these honestly, and with as much detail as you'd care to give. Thank you in advance for taking the time to fill this out!

1. Seems like kind of a stupid question. Given the circumstances you set out: 10.
2. Solid color mainly, on occasion multi-colored.
3. Style. Who's shallow enough to care about brand name? If they're really judging you based on what brands you wear then you should find new friends (speaking to the general public, not you personally).
4. Assuming I like the color/style: $30 - 10, $50 - 6. $80 - 2.

7. They kind of go hand in hand. If they're not the right style I don't even want them, no matter how much they cost. If they're stylish but too costly, then I can't afford them. I'd say that personally cost is more important.


Ideally, affordable, stylish sunglasses is what he should be looking to create. I also think it's a stupid idea to get into the sunglasses business. I just don't see much money to be made.

Solid, multi-colored seems too childish. Unless it's black & gold medusa like Versace or something more professional.

0. if I'm going to buy glasses, it'd be something much more expensive due to known brand.

I'll help, only because I love you <3

1. Honestly 1, I just bought a pair. 10 if I was to have not gotten them or I lose them. I HAVE to have a pair of sunglasses handy.

2. This one is tough. It's hard to beat a classic all black or brown look, but typically I am a sucker for neat combo's on different parts of the frame, like a white on the glasses part and a nice royal blue on the two pieces that go over your ears. (You can tell I know what the parts of glasses are)

3. Style, typically certain brands have styles. I.E. I associate Ray Bans with Wayferer's etc.

4. $30 - 3, $50 - 5, $80 - 9?

I just say this because I've had my fair share of cheaper sunglasses that I think I'll spend just a little bit on because I'll lose them anyway and they end up breaking. In the cases of glasses I prefer quality over quantity.

1. 8, I'm someone who would go with Oakley's most likely though.

2. Solid, unless it's a solid frame color with different color lenses.

3. Brand name more, but the style has to be there once I decided on the Brand i want.

4. $30 = 2, $50 = 4, $80 = 8. These are based on what I've seen. Usually the better looking ones are always the more expensive ones. And if I'm going to by a pair I'm not looking for a cheaper one to get multiple glasses. Just one nice pair.

Cost/style combined, it has to look good of course but im not forking over $50 for a shirt or pair of pants. most i've ever spent on a single clothing item was like $150 and that was for a pair of work boots, other then $20 is around my cap for a single item





ps i dont wear sunglasses for style, nor function i wear them for safety I.E grinding, welding etc
