Has anyone ever been banned for boosting

Ive looked and havent foud anything. Other than the pro players who where given a 2 week suspension for boosting does any one know or heard of anyone getting banned for elo boosting.

 

I've boosted a lot of people and have never had one of them get banned before. I have never heard about anyone getting banned for it either so I think they just made an example out of some pro players.

I know a few people who've been banned. That's only due to the nature of the boost they received aswell as how well known some of them were.

 

if u boost by just duoing no bans will ever be given... however if u talk about any kind of payment and they get the logs you will be banned.

 

Pro players were only targeted because they are supposed to be the poster children of the LCS. If you are always in the public eye and continue to break basic rules then of course you will get banned.

Yea I wouldn't worry about it. Thousands of people get boosted and almost none of them get banned. Riot doesn't really care that much at all.

 

That's also true and untrue.

SCVT during S2 was trolling Ranked when he reached top 10 for 3 days straight on live stream. Meaning he'd just follow one person on his team around the whole game, buy no items and just die and repeat. Riot banned him for 72 hrs; his ban was only 72 hrs due to the fact he is/was a famous streamer (publicity for Riot), pro player, and big name. If it was you or me, the ban would more than likely be permanent - especially for doing it on live stream.

 

I've been boosting an account and one of the account owners friends realized this (couldnt get AppearOffline to work), so he decided to report him (some friend...)

If he really did open a ticket its gonna be pretty obvious considering his account has 30-3 Veigar or something, and on top of that they can probably backtrace my IP to my main account.

Really blows if they do.
