How do u feel about the removal of gambling?

tbh the gambling aspect of the game never bother me
and i have play rs for along time ^.^

 

They made it a reportable offence, and changed content such as flowers, seal emote etc.

 

I think it's rediculaus as all the gamblers are just using irc and websites to gamble.

 

I think the idea was great on their behalf, now that gambling is gone - scamming and such will be gone as-well.

 

Exactly... They should bring it back cause they see we love it and we r doing everything to keep playing...

And btw in my opinion... Irc are boring :S i want FLOWERS! It was fun xD

Not necessarily. The prices of partyhats have increased roughly 150% since the removal of gambling, those who argue for the economy could not have been more wrong on gambling's affects.

 

I quitted rs after the update and was curious about this. I went on rs ge webpage and saw 3 party hats at 2.1B and almost ALL of them... Hween are also going up... This is really... Weird and -.-

I HATE the removal of gambling..

 

I'm happy that players don't have 1b+ on rs07 just cause they host flower games all day that's just stupid so i'm happy that they are gone tbh.

 

The price of partyhats is not an accurate depiction of the economy nor is it a large enough sample size to prove anything.

 

So what does gambling do to the economy then? The common argument is "All da gamblers own all the money and phats making the prices going up and I can't fish sharks and get a phat!11!!!"

So tell me, what changed when gambling was removed, economy wise? When someone is asked why they don't like gambling if it doesn't affect them, they always say "It ruins the economy"

I would like an honest response, how did it ruin the economy, and what changed since it was ""banned"" 3 months ago?

You are probably saying that because u tried to gamble once... And u lost. Everyone who lost says that.

My opinion : if u dont wanna gamble, dont do it! But the others who wanna play, have the rights to play:noworry:

Quit being so defensive. I never said a thing about the health of the economy or gambling's effects on it. All I did was point out that your idea of the eco (price of a discontinued rare item over time) is not an appropriate way to view the health of said economy.

Forgive this comparison, but I do not think the U.S. economy, or any for that matter, would ever be judged on a sole RARE commodity.

 

EoC removal? Sad.

2007 removal? Happy.

Gambling made me lose bank glad it's gone

 

I think instead of removing it they should have added content that allowed it to work without people scamming. For example a host npc.
