    Well, in australia, when a company goes down under like that. The company goes into liquidation, the liquidators will work out how much money goes where, for instance, they will first pay their fees with the money, they will then refund the high investors, then last but not least, people with money in the liberty reserve? they are more than likely, to not receive 100% of what they had in liberty reserve.

    I might be completely wrong, so please correct me if so :p

    I'd be surprised if people got their money back. Basically the only way for that to happen would be for the site to come online again.

    That sounds like what would happen in a bankruptcy, but that's not the case here.

    Yeah, I thought so.. But wouldn't you think that they would do they same sort of thing? liquidate all the funds to people who had 'investments'? Otherwise the government will get everything, I presume?

    Unfortunatley the government will probably class all funds in Liberty Reserve as procedes that went towards funding Terrorism, Drug Dealing and Child Pornography which will mean all funds will be seized and destroyed (more than likely going to fund government operations instead.)
