Most people who say "I have an account" etc will likely have their own thread, so linking their thread would be fine IMO.

I do see your point but I think it would reduce the amount of activity in the account buying section significantly due to the fact they'd have to post pictures numerous times.

 

Reduce activity or reduce spam? That's a big difference. Like stated by delta and myself, if someone legitimately has an account to sell, they wouldn't mind posting the pictures?

 

Well it will reduce spam, but it will reduce activity too.
People can still post with pictures and not go through with a trade as well though. So it won't reduce spam that much.

 

I see what you're saying, but even if it stops one spam post that is a step forward.
You've got to realise, a few of these people, who are supposedly selling an account, don't even have an account to sell, so with having this rule implemented, will steer them away from even posting in the first place. I appreciate your response, it's good to get input from all directions.

 

This is really pointless and unneeded. No point in restricting and implementing more barriers to entry. It's fine the way it is.

I wasn't advertising to buy an account, but he thought I was.. Anyway, I never received a PM about any type of account, nothing. It's just an easy excuse to gain post count.
