Do bots work on macs?

Just run bootcamp mate, that's what I do.
Mac for graphics, bootcamp for botting

 

then i'm definatley going to get bootcamp cause im getting tired of not being able to run bots because "there only made for pc" -.-

 

Don't, bootcamp/any virtual PC saps your computers resources like crazy.
Look up Wine if you need to use a windows-only bot like Simba/Scar. Else, most .jar bots (Tribot/powerbot) do work on Mac, provided you have the latest JDK installed.

Im looking up wine right now because ive been looking into Simba/scar bots but i was planning on using bootcamp

 

Programs like Bootcamp partition your computer, rendering whatever resources you allow it during initial install useless until turning on bootcamp; whereas programs like Wine just use the CPU+RAM power they NEED to run, just like any other application.
There's actually some very good tutorials on using SIMBA on a Mac on the SRL forums. Have a poke around, I'm sure you'll find it!
Another idea would be to buy a cheap VPS (FragVPS have a decent low-end package) and bot on it, that way you can set your bots up via SSH/Remote Desktop and that'll run dedicatedly 24/7.

I'd really advise staying away from SIMBA now that there's smarter bots out, but if you're active in the SRL community and know a bit of their API, I'm sure you'll find good use from the client nonetheless.

Powerbot does work on macs and it is basically the most used bot with almost any bot you could want.
