IRC/TeamSpeak

I think sythe should have a irc or teamspeak would make the community alot more active.

idk if they already do have ts or irc if so please tell me the channels

 

Correct me if I'm mistaken but I don't think Richard wants an official IRC channel, so I doubt there would be an official TeamSpeak. Although, we do have an unofficial IRC channel. Unfortunately, I don't think it's as active as it was in the past.

An official IRC won't happen. There's been mass incidents of trolling and drama with them in the past and Richard's decided just to do away with them. There is however an unofficial IRC in the SF that is very popular (or was popular).

A TeamSpeak server would simply never or very rarley be used. Its mainly used for things like online gaming to be honest.

 

alright thanks ive never used ventrillo but ive heard its alot better than team speak idk but maybe even that?

i would use the ts everyday and im sure many more people will aswell it can be used for people while they skill/trade and just wanna talk

 

The IRC is pretty much dead by the way.

 

if sythe made a official irc im sure it wouldnt be dead and yeah the trollers would come but thats what half ops and ops are for id be happy to watch the irc and kick any trolls irc is whole another community of people and so is team speak would bring in more people

We had a unofficial TS going at one point but it died out around 3 months later >_<
