Sythe mock reskin/redesign [feedback]

Hello, recently just got my internet back, otherwise I'd have posted this earlier.
Give me some opinions
It's not literal, so sorry if there's a spelling error, or something is wrong from the literal point of view. It's just a concept
The blank space below it would be the content area, but I really couldn't be fucked with it :>
Also, it's quite dark, for best viewing experience, remove as much glare from your screen as you can.

I think everything looks sick except for the fact that the banner/header image kind of just cuts off.

 

Has a very slick feel to it, I also like the darker color choice. Buttons, text, pretty much the whole interface is pretty well done.

The banner is quite nice too but I'd like to see it cover the whole space, instead of getting cut off and leaving room for ads.

Looks good. Only thing is that it's next to impossible to implement something like that without vBulletin 4. As MoonGlare said, I'd try to blend the render into the background a little more. Well done!

 

The font for the buttons is a bit meh.. If you know what I mean.

The banner was cut off to leave room for ads.
Just to make it look a bit more real idk
The idea was to have a banner area, and an advertisement area.
Otherwise it would be difficult to manage the size of the browser window if it was actually ever used. Eg, the banner would slowly cut down in relation to the size of the screen.

 

I wonder what the argument for that is, cus afaik you can mod however you like with a bit of PHP/HTML and Javascript. I dont know if vB limits you regarding customizations but i think as long as you keep the footer you're fine

 

It looks really good! But it looks a little unoriginal probably just the black and some dragon monster thing. It just reminds me of like wow private servers forums and stuff. But it's still really good

 

i like it minus the dragon... to me it fluants to much runescapeness... which is bad.

Thanks This was all actually from the top of my head, in terms of colours and layout. To me it was original, but I get where you're coming from, it's probably fairly similar to 101 other website layouts.

I totally understand, but Sythe is fairly dominated by Runescape players, so I thought it was fitting.
I do agree that it isn't wise to flaunt one particular game.
I just thought that a dragon would be fairly generic.

Font is supposed to look clean, not really exciting but thanks anyway

 

It looks not bad , and the font looks more nice. But I prefer the current page since I have got accustomed to using it.

 

Oh man the internet now a days is almost impossible to be original. I feel like the best bet with web design is to keep making designs until people really like it I don't know ha but it is very good.
