Rate my signature!

After looking for a free signature i finaly diceded why not test out my skills and make ony myself?

Finaly made one and this is the result! look below for my sign!

It's too plain, I don't really see whats the point of just having the greenish thing on the side and nothing on the text. I don't see why the skype logo is so dark.

You should work on more variety.

It's a bit plain but i kinda like it. Not a fan of the outlined letters but i like the sparkish kinda thing is has to it.

Its pretty decent but required abit more detail.

 

People who are saying 'it would be better if you added links'. What the actual fuck! These people are fucking delusional. Links should be added in the final stages of the signature, and only if required. Clearly he doesn't want them or need them. To judge art based on it's business appeal is not what the graphics gallery is for, or the whole section for that matter.

As for all the comments putting this guy down, fuck you.
He's most likely new to this hobbie/profession.
Cut him some slack, give him some encouragement, and push him in the right direction

Sorry about the rant, don't take direct offence, my jimmies were rustled is all.
I think your work is good for a beginner, I suggest following tutorials to learn new techniques.
Practise won't make you any worse, just keep it up, see where the tutorials take you. Just remember to be creative. Look at some of the artwork you like on the forums or the internet in general, inspire and influence yourself, let it help you learn. Attempt to replicate things you like, and apply those skills to your style.

The actual text has a nice font/effect like that wood/cloth effect, it looks pretty cool, but I think you should take a look at a few tutorials on lighting effects. It could do with some improvement to the lighting, also the picture of the random yellow thing, I forget what it is called, could be incorporated a little better, but good work, keep it up!

Not everyone is a market mogul, signatures look better with less/no buttons imo anyways. Comparable to tags where lots of text ruins the piece.

I salute you with the electricity border, I tried a similar thing when I was new to graphics and I abandoned it because I couldn't get it looking presentable, yours looks fine.
