Latest Signature - months since last one -!

Hello everyone, So me again, My last signature review was months ago . I hope I've made an improvement!

So without further ado:



Could you please tell me:

1) What to improve?

2) How is it compared to my current signature?

and finally 3) How can I remove that stupid box, like at the top there is a clear line where the gradient's colour clash with the sythe colour?

It looks pretty neat!
I'd make it a bit less bright tho.

tweak it a bit and it'll just be as good as your currentone

 

Thanks! So i'll make it less bright, but I thought this one was way better then my current one , that one had no effects, but alright, your opinion. I'll see, thanks for the input!

 

The actual lighting of the text within c4d could be improved. The effects could be improved also, they don't quite gel with the text and have been overused. There is one particular brush over the A which creates a focal and detracts from the text itself. The clip on the sides is also off putting, make sure to use a soft eraser or something around the sides

there is a part on the i that looks like it got erased. and the verey left bouttom (below the T) it is cut of like a harsh line, its kinda distracting. i would center up the yellow light in the background,with it to the right it kinda makes it unbalanced, but that's kinda a personal preference. the lighting in c4d could be improved. it might look good if you added a texture in the front gray part, idk tho it might be too much

 

Yes, I was worried it would be like too many colours, I kind of was trying for a grey with a splash of nice orange colour. And I just realized that "I" thanks for pointing that out

 

looks good, just wish it could be a bit more you know bolder it looks a lil faded

 

Dare I say it, the 3D render is horrible
I think it's what ruins the image. Work on your rendering skills, find tutorials on how to add lighting and textures to the text.
I think the font was a bad choice, perhaps just my opinion, but I don't think it is right to be rendered in 3D with the jagged edges (could just be me).
The glowing lines weaving between the letters is nicely done.
However the effect is lost by the overuse of those yellow stars and the bright glow behind the render.

There's too much distraction. Go simpler, cleaner, and it will look nicer.
Improvements?
Remove 75% of the stars, place them nicely, not randomly.
Lower the opacity on the heavy glow behind the render.
Rendering skills, add lighting and model the text a bit nicer (youtube is your friend here).
A cleaner font, not jagged and thin. Choose a bold font, with sharper edges.
