Simplistic Wallpaper (Largeish)

Haven't been with a computer with my tools on it for a while. My brother needed a wallpaper so I made him one. Yay.

 

How much experience exactly do you have? Also, how long did this take you?

 

5 years on and off between being a GFX artist, MW2 Trickshotter, and regional Tennis Player. Why?

 

Just wanted to get a feel for things I guess is a good way to put it. There really isn't much to say because of that fact that it's quite simple. Don't get me wrong, simple is better in some cases haha.

 

I feel like I should have used a more thin and simplistic font. And remove the Cel Render shadow, that was kind of silly for me to put on there xD.

 

like he said there isent much to say. but this is on that when i first look at it i was like mmmmm ehhh but the more i look at it the more i like it. witch thats a good thing.

 

Would anyone like one? I need to work on simplicity and such.

 

if you want to get in to simplistic designs i would suggest illustrator. an in illustrator its vector so no pixels.

 

It feels awfully bright on my screen, perhaps because i'm in a dark room at the moment.
Ah well, font is nice (I guess? :S)
It's too simple to really criticise, only thing I would say, the lighting is kinda shit.

Illustrator has raster, and photoshop has vectors, neither are bound to them specifically.
I think what he means is, for cleaner results, use vector where you can, and raster where you have to. Vector doesn't pixelate, raster does.

Also, I recommend sticking to 2D artwork for your simple projects.

 

I like those lines, they make it look like it's scratched/cracked, it looks pretty good, although it's a bit simple. I don't agree with the colour scheme though,
That ugly blue does not go with the really bright white.
