Remove Town Hall, put contents on Index

I didn't notice this so much when I was active but now that I am not so active, it has become apparent that all of the sub-forums of the town hall have all cut down in their activity.

Suggestions - This site is far from perfect and the suggestions forum is no longer getting love from people that would refresh the page and decide to take a peak at the suggestions.

Feedback - People do things wrong, it is human error. Things need feedback given on and this has had its activity drop too.

Community Input - This has never been on the front page but it is not terribly active currently, why don't we give it a try?

 

I'd rather keep feedback off the front page... When potential new users are thinking of registering, the last thing I want them to see is negative feedback.

 

Suggestions, Feedback and Community Input are all the same catagory really... Feedback often turns into a suggestion and so does community input.

I'd say just rename Town hall to something more suitable.

 

Tbh i use to frequent them more before they were merged.

No forum is going to show their worst parts on the front page. If they do they're stupid and don't want a new userbase.

whichi s why we get so many threads of people saying this site is full of scammers etc, cus you guys try to hide all the bad stuff.

 

I must admit i did use suggestions/feedback more when it was on the front page; also 'Town Hall' is a stupid name IMO. Needs rechanging or going back to how it was; but i dont think that'll happen as Verts mentioned.

 

Not really... Does coke say "it's your teeth and makes you fat!" in their ads? Does any company mention their bad qualities on the front page?
You have to think about new users and the future of Sythe.
There are guides to help them from being scammed and if they are smart enough, they won't need to read the guides anyway.

 

I'd much rather them be on the front page with Community Input under suggestions.

 

Community Input should replace feedback, stupid as hell to have two of the same fucking thing, also the fucking Town Hall shit is beyond retarded.

 

well i think it's silly to not display it for new users to see good or bad feedback, then when they make a thread about being scammed or site full fo scammers etc mods just bitch at them saying l2tradenewb l2readrules l2safetrade.

of course i am going over the top with that statement but i've seen it countless times.
