How do u feel about the removal of gambling?

Nice quote extrapolation, and highly relevant to this topic. Given all the RWT bans I'm seeing right now, it might be more than just a minor blow to RWT. It might be a medium sized blow..because I'm seeing a boatload of people get banned for RWT. Frankly I've stopped RWT'ING because I'm scared of getting hammered now.

 

Its really annoying i know.... More Gold sellers/gold buyers are banned each day...

 

I miss gambling, but I'm kinda glad it's gone as pretty much most of my wealth had been going to betting and the odd chance I won a large bet I was scammed.

 

That was because u didnt bet in a popular fc where people pays for their rank...

I lost more than 1b in gambling but i still miss it! Its the game... If u dont wanna risk ur cash, dont play it

 

theres always casinos if u got some irl money to splash , after payday im down at aspears turning £10 into £50 , irl staking

Hate it. It became a huge part of the game, and I really hope clans continue to gamble.

 

It was fun while it lasted, but more often than not it was a problem. I'm sort of indifferent about it's removal but certain situations make me thankful it no longer exists.

 

Exactly what he said but the thing is that gambling in IRC and stuff arent the same thing + if ur caught/do big trades, you will get banned

I doubt they will never make it not against the rules again, however there is still IRC dicing at the moment.

 

Gambling may come back once Runescape starts to go down and Jagex becomes desperate again. It's more of a last resort for them to revive the game. But then, gambling is a double-edged sword. It will cut both ways and is a difficult beast to tame.

Yeah the majority of the forum community was against gambling. Gambling was good while it lasted, but you can still gamble by staking if you want.

 

I dont really like staking
