Didnt have 11th grade physics and im not asking what our spaceships can do. I think that earth would want their tech bad enough to kill them. America alone has wanted plenty of things bad enough to attack other countries. Thats my opinions, not fact. like I said, your opinion was fine in your first post, I replied what I thought about it, and then you started cryin bout me givin my opinion on your opinion and tryin to bring all this factual shit into a hypothetical question. All your doing is arguing about opinions, because I'm not really paying attention to anything you say about our tech, cuz if we had better tech, then my argument would be invalid cuz we would have no reason to want to take theirs if ours was already better right? You can leave your opinion on what you think, and gtfo. say if u agree or not with my reply, whats the point in going further except trying to start little kiddie arguments on the net. Just to be clear though. When I ask a question thats answer relies purely on opinion, when you give your opinion, I will say what I think about it cuz I made the thread. When I post on another persons thread and they reply to me, I dont get butthurt and start bitchin with em. But then again I'm an adult, dunno how old you are so IDK if thats an insult or not to you, but I've always expected that... If someone replies on my post, I reply to them. If I reply to someone elses post and they dont like what I said, I go the fuck on somewhere else, which it seems both you and whats-his-name mastaa unique or wtf ever are incapable of.

Goodness, how did I get dragged into this! Well, might as well give my input since whats-his-nam mastaa unique has been summoned.

First off, if you want to make discussion threads in the General Discussion forum, you need to stop being a pedantic rageling and let people have their own opinions. You ask if we agree with your assessment of human nature to attack first and ask questions later, specifically when we're faced with an advanced species of extraterrestrial beings capable of traveling lightyears of space as easily as we fly in planes between countries. Users disagree and you pick fights, then abandon-thread when you can't out-debate opposing opinions because the most basic of logic seems to escape you. If you can't debate without resorting to insults and ragequits, don't start controversial threads.

Second, and more on topic, I also don't believe humans would be idiotic enough to attack aliens who've come to earth. For some reason, you're equating human nature to the Kim family's ultimatum against South Korea and all her allies. It may come as a surprise, but neither me, nor 99% of the world's population run around yelling in people's faces "I'M KIM JONG UN, I'M GOING TO NUKE YOU BECAUSE YOU LOOKED AT ME". You're also completely overestimating our warmaking capabilities. The energy it would take to travel one single lightyear, theoretically, would be more energy produced by a million of our strongest nuclear warheads. The energy alone could rend Earth in two. I can scarcely imagine the kind of weaponry a civilization would have if they're capable of interstellar travel.

Who ever said their ship would be wrecked? I sure didn't. When I had imagined it in my mind it would be a face to face meeting. Not trying to shoot down some kinda crazy ship that could fly circles ours. Maybe this is why you didn't understand correctly, but as tht unique guy posted, I expect its not just an opinion about what if, I'm gonna smoke a bowl before I even read that shit so maybe we can have some 3-way fun before I get any work done today.

Wasn't talkin bout you with the power abuse part, your just someone fun to fuck round with while I'm high. As I am not completely stoned yet, I can see your points in your post. Yes, not all humans are warmongering monsters, but most countries leaders are, and if the aliens were to land on earth, thats who they'd want to talk to first, the leaders. If they didn't make it to the leader, and came across someone else, I dont see how they could survive. Say they landed in middle america, around where I live and knocked on someones door. Now of course, no one knows what an alien would look like, but lets just go with the oldtime belief of green skin, big heads and red eyes. Around here, if something like that knocked on someones door and was speaking in some kinda strange language, the person would most like (litterally 89% of people here) would blow their head off. I mean think about it, the first thing going through your head wouldn't be "wow, an alien! i should make friends!" no the first thought would be "wtf?! is this thing here to hurt my family?! abduct me? take over my planet?!" and next thing you know purple goop and black bloods flooding out on your doorstep and youre being kidnapped by the CIA. But thats not at all the hypothetical I was meaning anway, cuz I pretty much know theres a HUGE chance an alien would get killed if it showed up on someones doorstep speaking in tongues.

The hypothetical I meant, was they land on earth, and directly speak to the united nations or the president of the usa, whoever, a country leader. I think that country leader would have them killed. and then demand the scientists to find their ship,weapons, etc and have them try to duplicate them in a manner I have already explained.

A perfect reply back, would be "I dont think we would cuz they would have better tech than us" I would then tell you what I think about your opinion, then you can fuck off. everybody is happy as fuck!

As for abandoning the last post about robotics, I did that while sober and just never went to look at it again while high cuz I'm havin to much fun on this thread. However, what I said was true, I asked if you would get this thing, and all I got back was reasons why it wasnt true, or if countries were workin on sumthing similar but without super-human abilities and shit (yes I know they never will cuz what you said is true, never said it wasnt, but hey, if i asked if someone offered to give you a real light saber, would you take it, would we have a huge discussion on why they will never be real?) all I wanted in that post, was people to say "yes I'd get a super cool sci-fi body part and do so and so with it", or "no I'm happier as a full human" thats all the thread required, and thats all that NOBODY did, so I didn't rage quit, i quit the thread cuz it was not at all on topic, same as this one, but prom is alot funner to argue with than you for some reason, so I think this thread might last ALOT longer. lol


However, speaking of abusing power and that last thread I made... Wheres that shoop guy? cuz I would like to tell him that prom was/is being rude to me so prom can get an infraction like I did for being rude to you!

I made a one sentence reply on your robotics thread saying I'd want a fully robotic body and that's it, if you don't want people to comment with what they believe and why then go take a fucking survey.

You're asking a question and wanting a measley one sentence answer and then acting like a kindergarten student when someone has a different opinion. I'm glad you're so above everyone because you have a holier than thou attitude in every single one of your posts. I'm glad that you have all the correct answers to every one of your questions, infact its almost like you make these threads for the sole purpose of disagreeing with people.

I was being sarcastic about the infraction, as I got one for being rude to a mod, mods shouldnt be any "better" than normal people, if being rude to a mod gets me infracted, anyone being rude to me or any other member should also be infracted. If you want to be scientific did you know that scientists recently discovered smoking weed stops cancer from growing? Any race that could reach us before we reached them would be technologically advanced enough to annihilate our race. We have nukes, not interplanetary WMDs. There are enough nukes on earth to kill the whole population so many times over, any 'alien race' would have at least that much potential
