How do u feel about the removal of gambling?

its the game... sometimes we loose, sometimes we win. If you wanna take the chance, take it!

Thats my perspective on gambling

 

Oh we'll be took that chance daily, and sometimes he did win big, but he got cleaned in the end, I think from the time he started until they updated he lost around 8bil. In around 5 months.

we still gamble, we just use IRC, join swiftirc channel name is #dragondyce, we been gambling never stopped, and almost finished with our new site, gonna have adding blackjack,poker tournies, and alot of other stuff, will be able to gamble in many games not just runescape, we've done 60mill 07 bet and full 3rd age recently, its booming

I can only assume that the "outlawing" of gambling is a delayed reaction to the negative publicity RS got in the news around December due to all of the gambling clans or "gangs" as they described them.

If you look at it objectively, it is good that they are trying to crack down on that sort of thing.

 

Gambling was fun, but it's good its gone now, I won't get cleaned anymore by being addicted to it..

 

I haven't tried gambling in RS but.. tsk! it would be nice to try it and like sell the gold that you earn on it with real money like hmm sell it through sythe or PA. knowing that they will remove it is a sad news for me.

 

Gamble is dead, but people exchange 07/eoc eoc/07 to make $$ by 5% commision fees. I might buy a rank aswell, it's decent money on 07.

Gambling is just like luring in my opinion. I was a host at Flowers fc, and I made serious bank. The people who are anti-gambling either lost all their money from gambling or jealous of how you can make so much money will so little.

 

I feel like it was a great idea.
Tbh, I think gambling did a number on Runescape.
I mean, Jagex even had to take out items, or altar items just to make it so people couldn't gamble.
It ruined the fun of the game.
Also, players who were too lazy to work for their money or train skills, gained profit and became rich for no reason.

I'm glad gambling is gone,I hated it from the start.

 

I miss hosting, it was easy money and actually fun. Jagex aren't players babysitters, it's ridiculous that they sit there and regulate pvp games

 

to be honest, it doesn't matter to me at all.

 

You think staking is better? You think Wilderness is better? Gambling can be the same as those. We can lose and we can win... Maybe u didnt like it but why do u want it removed? If u dont like it, dont play it!

Maybe your mad because theres people who make their bank with this? Well you can do it too! But if u dont want to risk your money, again, dont play it!

I think its a bad update because its a game!

In our house, theres also gambling! Theres a room where u can put money in the chest and the winner gets it!

Finally, alot of players loved gambling and jagex should of kept it because it doesnt do anything to other players who dont like it cause they dont play it.

 

I never gambled but I'm pissed. World 2 was so active and fun to be in, and I could loan partyhats out for nice sums of cash..some hosts would even pay up to 5M-6M for a loan (because they knew they'd make a ton). Nobody wants to borrow anymore because there's next to no point in it anymore. I also loved seeing people gamble with bots..that was great and made firemaking and cooking, which are usually incredibly boring, a lot more fun.

 

There's a lot more to runescape than gambling. I'm glad they finally got rid of it. It was ruining the economy. If you want to gamble, go to a casino xD
