I can't seem to figure out what the fuck RU is standing for?

 

Devoted player imo:
A person who's built a home and created/joined a faction, and who is online at an agreeable frequency (at least 5 hours a week, an hour a day, w/e)


Joey, RU = Regular User I assume, I didn't coin the term so I may be wrong

help me think of more possible misc ranks

 

Nethertamer (Netherrack/soul sand) -> People that have been to nether

Endergamer (Enderman) -> People who have been to The End

Fortress Master (Moss Stone) -> People who take down fortresses

Adventurer (Chest) -> Visited multiple different mines/biomes/something like that

Shrooms (a mushroom) -> Has a giant mushroom on their property.

CropMaster -> Largest farm/automated farm in the game.

Any of these appealing to you?

 

Only Shrooms and CropMaster are quantifiable, even then, proving that you had the largest farm would be strenuous at best, and it's too easy to get a giant shroom. I'm thinking misc ranks for things concerning your skill level. Take my redstone rank for example, you can easily prove your proficiency in redstone machines, just as you can easily prove your proficiency with Java or C++ to earn a programmer rank

know what I mean?

So like... maybe "Architect" for a someone who can build incredible buildings... or a book icon for someone who is really really knowledgeable and helpful in all things minecraft

 

PS, if I had my way, you wouldn't collect miniranks like you'd collect achievements. If I had my way, with the miniranks I have so far, one could only collect a total of three minecraft-related miniranks.

A regular/Operator rank
A donor rank
and a SINGLE misc rank

 

Okay makes sense... Ummm PVP master would be an easy one to quantify. Use a DSword as the minirank.

I like the architect one. Seems like a good idea. Use the brick for that?

Could you do collector/helper rank? Like someone that helps collect item "x" and helps people out? Is that something that may be considered "quantifiable"?

 

Does anyone know if I can run a cracked client on Mac? Every file on TPB is .exe so I can't open it or extract the files. I even tried switching out the .jar from my regular mc with a cracked MC .jar but didn't have any luck.

I forgot that if the server crashes while you have items in your inventory, you lose it all...

40 diamonds, 25 gold, dsword, FAII Enchantment book, 63 pieces of moss stone, 4 tripwire switches, 4 dispensers, 6 sticky pistons, 30 pieces of pork/20 pieces of steak, and the rest of the pickaxes/etc. I had... =|

It's sad I don't know how to get 90% of what you named there.

 

Most of it was collected in my last travel towards spawn, while I was bringing food and wood to people that requested those items. I ran into two fortresses along the way, and got almost all of that in those fortresses.
