Why did I get banned for RWTing?

So I logged into runescape today to find out that i've been temp-banned for RWTing. Yes, I used to RWT quite a lot several months ago but lately (other than a single sale of 88m before the gambling update was removed a couple weeks ago) I haven't RWTed at all. I actually had the intentions of selling all of the GP on my main in one trade since I didnt care if i got banned after that, and i've been advertising selling that GP for a few days. All I've done on that account is sold my phat and third age on the GE? I haven't released my username to anyone or met up in game other than the single trade listed above since I decided to start selling again.

I just have no idea what i'm being banned for (the 88m a couple weeks ago and RWTing months ago doesn't really make sense), anyone have an idea? None of this really adds up.
Also how much of the gold is wiped typically?

 

Comparing your adventurer's log to your GE sales would be a tad suspicious, but I'm sure they went deeper than that. My guess is your GE sales had something to do with it since it's recent. Your account is flagged either way so it doesn't matter.

88m was the amount of my last RWT. The account had around 1.8b on it .

 

How long is the temp ban?

Btw, anyone know how much gold they usually take on resets?

 

I'm pretty sure they don't touch your items/cash.

A possible scenario is they banned the person you sold to, then traced it back to you.

RWT usually results in a wipe and then a temp ban, but sometimes a skill reset aswell if you had a lot of ore going from the acc etc (gold farming)

 

I think that they are keeping a very close eye on people with rares...

 

If you were banned for RWT you should have no money at all. I'm surprised it was a temp ban since usually it's always RWT Major, never a minor.

I've lost above 6b now on resets, 3b were my own, 3b belonged to rsultimate lol. Fucking jagex is starting to get more strict on it, but so will we .
