Momentum will become a toggled ability.

"This week’s update has also made Momentum a persistent, toggled ability, much like Incite or Single-Way Wilderness. No adrenaline is generated while it is active, and it is still cancelled by use of any other ability."

    Source.

Will hopefully bring back some players that didn't like the combat system. Maybe some of you will consider returning?

    Discuss!

As long as EoC RS is EoC RS, I shall not be returning to play :p

Runescape's appeal was simplicity, and it'll still be there regardless. 07 all the way.

It will bring back the simplicity though. You'll have the option to play like the old days and new.

I know, but those items only work in PVM places, anywhere for PVP those items are invisible, so where it matters that you can see their items you can.

It makes me hate the game as soon as I log in though, it just looks tacky and half-arsed. Will not be back :)

I won't be playing again unless they turn the armors back to the good old awesome ones! Not those weird ugly fail new ones. :p

Currently you have to use abilities to get 100% addrenaline, then use momentum which lasts 20 mins. Soon you can just turn momentum on and off when you wish.

i dont see the point in having momentum being toggled on and off, since the eoc was supposed to be a way to remove the click and click play style right? Also the toggle single way and multy way combat is one of the reasons i quit just ruined pking

They don't want people to quit. They want their long time members to return. This change is hopefully going to help that.

And with the change to toggling multi and single combat in the wildy, when everywhere becomes a multicombat area, there needs to be something in place to stop people walking into wildy and getting 1 shot by 10 people waiting there.

Great, this helps a lot with training magic :)

It basically allows your weapon damage to be increased for as long as you refrain from using other combat abilities, it is supposed to be like the pre-eoc system of low click intensity.

My only gripe about recent Runescape is not the EoC system, but the graphics. God, Dragon looks so dreadful now. I can seriously not even look at it..it looks so ugly.

But this toggle ability is nice, though I have no qualms with EoC...just the new graphics in many of the armors.
