Worth botting a near-maxed account?

been slowly working my way towards a maxed main, finally about to finish that up, as i'm in the high 2400's total level.

i've owned the account since it was a level 3, paying member from 05 ish, is it worth the risk of botting the last 30-40 levels until maxed, or should i hand train; never had my ip flagged/any account banned for botting.


also, would rid be considered "fairly safe" to use compared to powerbot, others.

 

I'd say at that point, dont bot it. Unless you are willing to lose it. All the years you worked on it and you lose it now *ouch*

 

Hand train. That's a lot to risk and it seems as if Jagex has been targeting near maxed players recently.

 

I'm maxed and bot to test my Simba scripts all the time, so is ixsin from SRL

 

in other words, unless i use rid, safer to not bot?

 

Any well made script will be fine, that is the key, well made. Stray away from PB ATM as I've had some issues with the client, Wbot is new and trustworthy, but the API isn't done yet so that can make scripts not as we'll designed. Use simba or RID. I find sima easier and better from personal experience, but I'm also fairly good at pascal(;

 

Definitely worth it, im 99% sure that you wont get banned for botting on EOCscape if you only do it on 1 account.

 

Worst piece of advice you could possibly offer, go away.

I'd hand train it, you've gotten this far already without botting so it shouldn't be too much of a task. It'd be a lot better not to risk it at this point, all that hard work to get slammed with a permanent ban would be unjustified.

Really it depends on your botting "skills".
If you do well made scripts and survey it often you can bot for years without any problems.
If you're a noob, do simple scripts that run for days un-supervised, then the chance of running into a GM is higher.

 

so far i've only run non-rid on hunter, runecraft, and construction, and babysat it for at least 2-3 hours until i felt comfortable with the script not being something really crappy

as well as taking a lot of breaks to do stuff like ports, pvm, hand train other skills, dungeoneering, etc

 

i say do it but just baby sit your bot and talk for liltle then when your about to leave say your keyboard is wireless and is about to die been botting since 06
