Want to make money with just an idea?

Hello guys,

I'm a web developer looking for ideas. Basically I want a good idea for a website to make that has potential to go viral. Websites such as Facebook would be extremely easy for me to code... The difficult part is coming up with a unique idea first.

I'm sure there are tons of you with brilliant ideas that could make some money.

I'm willing to enter a partnership with anyone who submits an idea to me that I like and think will do well. We will do it with a contract if you want, doesn't matter to me. All profits will be split (percentages to be determined).

Any idea PMed to me is confidential between you and I (and big Rich of course).

The key into the success of a certain website actually comes from the promotion or on advertising. And when people do find it interesting, it will go viral as they will keep coming back and introduces them into other people.

As for my idea, you can make a website that combines all the features of the top three networking sites. In this case, you will make a website that has the features of YouTube, FaceBook and Twitter. How's that for an idea?

As for your idea... That's Facebook/MySpace. YouTube is just the Facebook video sharing feature, Twitter is just Facebook statuses. I'd just be duplicating Facebook basically, so no thanks. I also asked them to be PMed to me so they can be privately discussed.

Yes. I asked you the other day on Skype for additional details with no response.

 

Not really too interested, but here's an idea. Note down certain things which you find yourself searching for on the internet which you can't find any/enough information about, and use Google AdWords to measure key-word traffic. Extremely simple to see which ideas will or will not have some sort of potential.

I pretty much did this in a paid-internship I had with an insurance company to find insurance niches, they are making thousands from it.

Edit: Oh, you're talking about Diet Cok. No, it's not similar at all. I'm asking for a small idea that I can develop. He was asking us to decide every single thing in his life, and asked us the exact same question about 4 times once a month (asking if he should get a degree or work for his rich dad).

 

Its exactly the same you're asking for our opinion\idea on what would be a good life choice for you, what exactly is different from that and the life choice he asked? The way I see it you're both asking the same type of question he simply asked more which that doesn't\shouldn't really matter as that is what a forum is for is to discuss topics. Either way I think I've proven my point so I will let you get back to your thread but next time you dislike someone\something in the forums, skip it, you don't need to make an ass of yourself.

 

I'm not asking for a life choice. No one on here knows me, so it would be stupid to ask for a life decision like Diet Cok does. I never made an ass of myself. My life is going fine and I don't need online forum frequenters to dictate my entire life.

This isn't a life decision, it's a hobby site I want to do since I'm a web developer and hopefully can make some money from it.

Next time mind your own business. You're not involved with myself, nor Diet Cok. You don't know about any of our past arguments/discussions, so fuck off mate. He has made enough threads about us deciding his life for him to make me tell him to stop. Obviously I'm not out of line when people agree with me.
