Good ENGLISH Dubbed Animes?

I watch alot of anime, but I hate reading subtitles, when I feel like reading, I read a book. So please no posts about how the jap dub animes are better, or that "this one" is so good itd be worth reading the subs because I can promise you now you arent going to change my mind, infact I'll probaby just ignore your post.


Currently I have a pretty good sized (in my eyes) collection of anime. Here is a list, the ones with a '*' after them are the ones I've gotten downloaded, the ones without it are ones I'm working on downloading or plan to download.

This post is just mainly to add to my list. (some of these arent all in english, I know, I only plan on downloading the episodes that ARE in english)

Also, I have heard alot about Love Hina, thats why I downloaded it, but I havn't seen a single episode of it. By the types of Anime I have in my list, does it seem like something I would like? I skimmed threw the first episode after the download finished to make sure it was in english and I'm not 100% sure about it...

Have you tried looking around a few Anime forums, there must be quite a few threads on this.

 

Try Fairy Tale and one piece, both are good.

 

As mentioned above, you should try One Piece. It's a pretty awesome anime.
However, I feel that you should watch anime's with english subtitles rather than dubs because with english dubs, you won't hear the original voices of the characters, which in most cases, sound cooler and badass. Do note that one of the most important and crucial parts of character development in an anime is the voice of the character. The english voice over spoils the anime if you ask me But it's really up to you. Try One Piece

 

rurouni kenshin is by far my favorite. YUYU hakishu or w.e its called was great as well

 

Trigun is fantastic (and had an amazing dub, same one as the Rurouni Kenshin team.)

 

I personally like Lucky Star.

 

I highly recommend Love Hina. I know you said you were unsure, but it's great. Sooooo cute! I'm going to watch an episode right now!

 

Samurai 7 and Vampire Hunter D.

 

If you liked death note try code geass, they are kinda similar.

 

Try Rurouni Kenshin (aka Samurai X). It's personally my favorite series.

Also, you may want to look at Rosario & Vampire - This series sort of ends abruptly and doesn't have much of an ending scene... but It's a decent beginning. :noworry:
