JohnK's leaving to be a mormon missionary

well i guess in terms of activity i pretty much left sythe when i resigned from staff in february 2012, but i've still hung around since then flaming kids in the spam forum, posting words of encouragement in the sythe.org news section and making the odd post around other sections now and again.

but this farewell thread means farewell. yes, you heard right, starting tomorrow, i'm going to be a mormon missionary, which means no internet or nothing like that for 2 years. despite the last year of my sythe activity being a messy one, i still like to think that i did a lot for this site before that, not that many are even around to remember those good ol' days.

you know, it sounds pretty gay but i went through highschool and pretty much grew up posting on these forums. sythe will always mean something to me whether or not it is still around in 2 years time when i get back home. before it gets too cringe-worthy, i guess i just wanted to make this post to formally say farewell. i'll just say thanks to all the people who have been in and out of the community over the last 5 years ive been here. thanks to sythe for keeping this website up so long that we could use it free of charge. thanks everyone, you're great. it has definitely been one crazy ride.

integrity is one of the few things that can't be taken from you unless freely given.
