okay ive seen this like 20 times today is this a skill glitch or is the game just spazzing out?

 

Same thing? Some sort of weird glitch reporting it more times than it should.
Might belong better in RS general, doesn't really have anything to do with cheating.

When I got 99 smithing earlier it did that to me, it appears to just happen randomly.

 

I recommend putting your game chat to filter.

 

It has done this for months, just it only does it every so often, just switch game to 'filter' and this won't pop up.

 

Does it not do this if you get, say, 5 99's at once to get max cape? I remember Runeshark's doing this, spamming messages across..

its not a glitch--they just use strange rocks to do that

 

If they use a strange rock to get the messages 'duplicated' its still a glitch?..

I just don't find it how it annoys other people. Anyway, it doesn't happen all the time and even so, I'm not aware of it because I'm highly concentrated on my character beating monsters around.

I've seen this every since they released the feature. Though it's rarely ever that bad, usually just two or three extra times.

 

How would the strange rocks make that happen?

 

Isn't this bug like really old?

 

Yeah it's really an old bug of the game that Jagex doesn't seem to fix from the last few several months because it's not actually affecting or doing anything wrong. It's just that some players find it annoying.

 

This happens when a user gets several 99s within a single game tick.

 

Lol that'd be awesome to get all level 99's at the exact same time.
