All bots for RiD are currently offline while Genesis is under development. When Genesis is released you will be able to bot virtually anything on any version of RuneScape, as well as many other games.

Nice release from RiD. Does RiD run on OSX? I only run Linux and Windows, just wondering.

ok filled out the GUI, was sitting at lumby fishing tutor area with small net in my invent, clicked go and nothing happened. Mouse didn't move but the script said running. About a min late the bot just quit.

RiD is compatible with OS X, however the graphics are different than on Linux and Windows, so RiD has to update the bots to work on OS X.

In the mean-time Windows or Linux can be used; and Virtual Machines (free) can be used on OS X to run the bots.

Thanks for the help Trent. Been using RID for a very long time now. One of the original OG's who used the MTA bot that started it all. I was in the chat along with the many initiates tonight haha

 

Can't register an account for some reason, "No response from server, check connection or try another browser".

Current fishing bot problems after about an hour of attended botting with it.

- Misclicks
- Idle time in between fishing spots/after a fishing spot runs out and there are others
- Running in between both fly fishing spots multiple times, even if there are fish at the spot its running to.
- Prematurely dropping fish not at full inventory, on the way to new fishing spot, or a mix of both.
- Does not handle whirpools/fish and results in loss of rod.

I mean i'm no bot programmer, but it seems like these errors should have been easily found and fixed if it was tested for any amount of time over 5 minutes. A pretty bad first release.

 

Used the fishing bot.
Start off at Barb village fishing area with the correct utensils.
It begins by clicking on the fishing spot then does nothing afterwards (07 Scape) Selected 07 mode

Dude, i've seen 15 year old's release scripts on powerbot that are better on first release. The problems with this bot are so amateurish, i expect a LOT more from RiD.

 

Try registering on the forums instead of on the homepage. Also, double check here to make sure that the username you're registering with isn't already taken, as this can cause that error.

Well it's still in beta. Missclicks are likely to be human error (who doesn't missclick, ever?). These are some of the first official OSRS bots, so of course they're likely to have a few bugs upon release of beta. They're free in the mean-time. If you want to have a perfect experience then you should wait until the beta is over.

All of those bugs mentioned are being looked at though. RiD wants all the bots to be able to run for obscene amounts of time, so anything that is detrimental to the botting experience will be looked at and fixed swiftly.

Are your graphical settings correct?

Also, does the RiD - Running icon in the taskbar disappear, or does it still show up?
