Question for Sythe in Regards to Stolen Goods

It was 100% what he meant in that thread. He was saying "if someone has fraudulent funds and can pay you via PA, accept the order, and take screenshots, then PA will be reimburse you."

 

I'm glad this is all being done and I think so long as it's enforced fairly it will be a positive step for the community. It's just important that absolutely everyone is involved in making it a reality.

 

I didn't notice it's hacked rs gold at beginning, and it's a entrapment obviously~

IMO, as recovery
1,As buyer. After i bought the account+ gold, the original owner took it back(with no reason), then i recover it back again, it's legal.
2,As seller, if i sell acc out, then recover it back(with no reason), it's illegal

Thanks for clearing that up, also Kevin no hard feelings didn't mean to insult your character. I agree with you he entrapped you but good on you for refusing it after. I hope gold sellers/ buyers stay careful of these people who are trying to entrap them.

Also thanks Sythe for clearing it up and I can vouch gold4fun no longer buys hacked/ stolen gold. In my opinion I think an announcement needs to be made about the issue in the official news as well but that is just my opinion.

Also SuF thanks for clearing up Viou's ban I'll agree with it if everyone in the future will be punished under the same actions Viou committed.

Also the guy entrapping people please stop, you are wasting your time until the official rule on the matter is released.

As you said, we gold sellers should be proactive and have a little pride in ourselves and where the gold from.
The customers trust us, likewise, we need to take full responsibility for them.

Seeing as R2P had warned his workers and then that happened after surely they should face the consequences.

Lets say I try and sell recovered gold to a newcomer which isn't actually recovered, could they get me banned for saying I'd recovered gold? Surely the evidence you be flipped back onto me.

What happens if

• I contact someone offering recovered gold
• They agree to buy
• I terminate trade and make a RaSc
• They make a RaSc saying I sell recovered gold, even though they never saw it etc

I said I had recovered gold, so can that be used against me even if I don't have any? Like how can we catch them without the chance being flipped back onto me.
