I don't agree with any of the BS people are saying, I am however not too big a fan with some of the staff and the way that they are selected but that is neither here nor there.

A lot of people do enjoy the site. A lot of people do appreciate what you do and a lot of people would miss it if you decided to let it die.

Don't listen to these assholes, and for fucks sake don't think ALL of us are like them. Making threads like this is likely to encourage the pricks giving you a hard time in the first place because they will smell blood in the water. Just ban and move on, there is no sense in throwing everything away over a handful of trolls.

I understand your P.O.V. Sythe. Too many people are ignorant to what it takes to keep a site up and running, while under heavy criticism from everyone on that site and the known fact that there are those who try to take it down everyday.

I wish there was someway we could help keep the asinine and ignoramus fuckers off your back. Keep your head up and don't let them get to you (anymore than they already have).

 

I did read it, and I do agree with everything he said but thought I would add a little joke. Accusing Richard of being money hungry deserve to be banned, also people who constantly grief him. It is his site and he can do what the fuck he wants with it.

I disagree with your second bullet. People do attack you because you are the owner but that isn't the only reason. As I said during the SytheMMO period, trolls like getting reactions. The hatred that you describe is something that these trolls love. They have learned that you will have this reaction and they get great amounts of joy from causing it. The more that you react the more that the trolls will continue to prey upon you.

There is obviously a time and place to react to accusations of immorality. During my senior year of high school a teacher accused me of lying about something completely insignificant. I could have let it go without having any reaction but felt that I would be abandoning my principles if I did. So I quickly stood up, gathered my things, told the teacher that I would not be falsely accused of lying and walked out, ignoring his protests.

However during online activities (and other activities) there is not a reason to do the same. The teacher was a figure out power over me and I felt wronged by "the man" and I felt I needed to resolve that issue. The internet is different. I do not care if someone thinks I'm a liar. I know I am not. If a person is too stupid to know that I am not they are not worthy of my time. I ignore them.

I strive to be happy within my life. In order to achieve this I have taught myself to not care about things that are not important. I do not consider stupid people important to my life and therefore I have given up on most interactions with them. If they refuse to accept that what I am saying is obviously true it is their own fault. I will not live my life with unhappiness in order to impart something which they refuse to accept on them. I do not let others control my life. I do not let them have influence over it. My emotions are mine alone and I strive to reduce them as much as possible except when I decide to allow them to arise.

So do what I do and teach yourself to not give a fuck about the stupid people. They aren't worth your time anyways. You have better things to be doing besides dealing with morons.

I'd like to note that everything I said above has one exception, my girlfriend. Well, not all of it. Some of it.

The only things I've ever leaked was 1. a very minor leak 2. Anything that is related to me or is about me. I find it dumb I get put in the wrong for leaking stuff that was about me in the first place.

 

None of them are. That doesn't mean it isn't justified to spend your time on them.
