Why? It's a joke minirank, if you look at the awards systems that many other forums have, there's BARELY anybody who has them, and they're taken way too seriously. The little miniranks we have which are easy to obtain and are fun, show that we're more light hearted than many other competing forums. People who have issues with miniranks need to get lost.

 

The ability to turn them off (just as we can turn off sigs), wouldnt hurt anyone

 

There is apparently a minirank manager in the works. That'll be good, it was suggested from the get go. In the mean time these guys need a warm welcome to the internet, people are sometimes "offensive" and "unprofessional". No one has been able to provide any sort of solid examples as to how this harms the quality of the site outside of the fact that it makes some users look "unprofessional" (which is complete and utter bullshit).
