Do you ever deny a vouch?

Alright so I bought gold off this new comer and I noticed after that all his threads started getting posts saying he was demanding people to go first because he did a trade with me and was demanding they go first (Despite the fact he went first) so I refused to vouch him. Of course he wen't and removed his vouch for me but whatever. Am I wrong for wanting to prevent a potential scammer, do any of you ever do this or do you just vouch no matter who it is?

 

You aren't obligated to vouch at all. If you feel like the vouch will be used for evil, don't give it.

If the trade goes well, I always vouch. However, if the trade goes really shitty and they mess you around sometimes I refuse the vouch.

 

I've denied couple vouches in my career, sometimes didnt even asked for vouch if customers were hmm... Rude I think is the best word to describe them

 

Of course you should deny vouches! Look up the definition of a vouch. In fact, you're only doing harm to others by vouching someone that isn't trusted.

I've never denied a vouch, then again I've never dealt with anyone suspicious. If I were in a situation where I knew the person was leading on to a scam or flat out sketchy, then yes, I may deny them a vouch.

Not really. Half of Sythe aren't frequent users and simply come for a trade or two then leave, so to them a vouch is useless.

 

No, I don't think you are wrong, and also remember that no one can require a vouch for a trade therefore your not in the wrong ether

 

Yeah quite a few people I have middlemanned for don't want a vouch because they're only here to purchase one or two things

 

A vouch is given by your own free will. If you don't feel he deserve it, you can choose not vouch.

 

This seems fair, I personally haven't traded yet however when I do if I'm in a situation such as the OP then yes, I would deny a vouch.

Hmm, I've only had vouches which were money related so I don't think I should deny that . If people would offer me a vouch for free services or any of that I'd deny them.

I vouch when I think the person is legit.
Haven't ever had the situation yet to deny a vouch though.

 

If the trade goes well then I vouch, if its really getting complicated and stuff then I sometimes don't.
