Fat mark confirms pre-eoc servers

I'm not even going to argue with you. You need to understand demographics. This change is far too late. If they introduced this change during say 2008/2009, they may have roped in 5% of the players that quit during 2006/07.

You need to understand that the reasoning for people quitting prior to 2007 wasn't cause of updates, it was because they grew out of the game, matured and didn't relate to it anymore.

50,000 players will not return. There may be an increased activity of current players and a small influx of say 5,000 players that had quit, but no way near what people estimate.

Additionally, there are far more newer players than older. These newer players aren't going to want to play a game that pre-dates their gaming experience and feels irrelevant. I don't mean that there wont be a poll or that a older version of Runescape released, I simply mean that it won't be that old.

It's not a hard concept to grasp.

 

Increased activity of 5k? Lul. I dont need to understand "demographics". I understand RS. I've played for 9 years. I know the community, including those that quit.

I played since Classic aswell, not like that matters. Infact, I played deviousMud, which was preclassic. Anyway, you'll see what I mean when the time comes.

 

If they do bring back i don't want 2006 servers i want the servers where pvp worlds were there,these was the most fun time i had,pk trips with clans etc. Just wonderfull.(I'm beeing honest.)

I only wish for this to happen, i mean speaking as a veteran (2004). I would return, but there is no way the game would ever capture my attention as it did when i was starting at at age 12 or so, its just never going to be the same..but it will keep my attention for possibly a few months..

 

This. Bh/pvp worlds were the most fun i ever had on RS.

This is a step forwards. It's actually starting to improve now, I really hope for the players that enjoy it that they implement it, even though I wouldn't play it much personally. I wonder how many people have ruined their pures over EoC

 

I don't see why it would, you had the beta servers and you could import your account there without affecting the real rs at that time. So it should be possible.

 

Yes, but someone in beta couldnt go to godwars with someone who was in real rs.

 

It probably won't be 2006, might be 2010 or something.

 

i would pay 50€ per month if it'd be 2010 with pvp worlds
i just miss it so much and yes i would pay that i earn alot of money on my job so i give barely a shit about what i pay

 

They did this with RSC when RS2 came out. It was great fun at first, but then some fucking idiots decided to abuse it, so Jagex completely shut it out and decided to let it die a slow death. The same thing would happen to a feature like this, and if it doesn't, it'll just be another money grab. Watch them adopt a model similar to: "you have to be a member to use the older versions of Runescape, on top of a separate membership to play F2P older versions and another membership to play P2P version".

...I miss pvp worlds pking was so chill around the ge then and it was easy to meet similar players / pures.

 

I think Jagex will bring pre-eoc servers and whipe them clean, as in everyone would start from 0 on them.
