Runescape wasn't complete shit. Whips were worth something. There was a community.

And private servers weren't displayed on the rs hiscores page. LOL.

I had just watched a Youtube video of how rs was becoming crap and more people were turning to private servers, and then I saw this. I laughed incredibly hard.

 

Yeah, I thought jagex Would have blocked them. But I have seen pics of gold selling sites.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that just targeted advertising that looks at your recent internet history?

It's similar on youtube the adverts to the side of the video, if you have been shopping on an online retailer site it's usually their stuff or their competitors who sell similar named items.

 

This, jagex has no control over what the ad networth displays.

 

I remember in the past I've seen RuneScape gold sites advertisements such as gold4fun on youtube on Jagex's videos

 

Lol that's great stuff.

They're making themselves look bad by letting it happen.

 

They use Google Adsense what do you expect, black markets come up on other game websites. Nothing to get excited over, its just a advert.

 

I remember that to, and now they have like no advertising on their webstie having to do with their game

 

It's automated. Jagex don't decline or accept any of the adds as others have stated.

 

I know its automated, but still pretty funny to see! xD

 

Shame it's only targeted advertising.. Though some people will think it's legit.

 

Kinda sad that they would advertise a pserver on the Runescape site.
