A Complete Revision of Donation Perks

Since the release of USF and Viral threads the sf has ruined, at least the DL has character, UDL would be stupid. It'd be inactive, and it's not like decisions etc would be made in there.

Maybe a chance to have animated UI? Is that even possible?

 

Why wouldn't it be, the code for adding UIs is literally:

<img></img> supports GIFs.

 

Yeah, put currently we are only allowed to submit .png's, was wondering if gif's would be allowed or is there another reason behind it.

 

Just to clarify, I believe multiple UIs means more than one at once. Being able to have one then change it would be cool though.

 

By multiple I meant what moderators/admins can currently have, where they can have up to 3 UI's that can randomly appear, there is no fixed order.

^ Can I just say that I doubt $5 Donors would be getting many, if any at all. It's for the $50/$100/$200/$300 and maybe a new higher category. The only thing I can't see them entering $500+ perks for is because a $300 is a custom rank, so there would be no default rank to have, but there could potentially be the UI thing etc.

 

Yeah. I am talking mainly about high-donors and new donor groups.

Yeah, I was referring to kiwi who wanted more perks but was only a $5, it's unlikely they'll get much/anything. The lowest donor rank I can see getting anything is $50, or maybe $25 seeing as the rank is there but there is no perks that I can remember.

 

Agree with this. $5 donators get plenty for their money imo

Anyone have any more ideas/comments?

Yeah there are loads of new things that can be done just if we can get new user groups. Matthew said it can be done; he was just waiting for vB4; which is no longer coming. so im suggesting we get new usergroup NAOW
