I am currently using a Jailbroken iPad 3 and was wondering if it is possible to run Linux on it? Perhaps from the cloud or a remote computer?

There's an app that lets you control a computer remotely, but it's not worth it. It goes at something like 4FPS and the touch controls are absolutely awful (since most OSs aren't meant for touch except some of the new Macs and Win8).

EDIT: Before I forget, there was actually a way to install Windows 98 on an iPad that my friend showed me. I don't know if it'll still work, but it worked pretty well.
