Fun Ranks

Fun ranks are either earnt or won, or kept from showing finn nudes ages ago. Mini ranks are like a smaller achievement, for being active in certain things, like the Pokeball is for PokeMMO or having a PokeSig/Avatar. The current system is fine as it is, no support.

 

I think many of the people opposed to the idea have a fun rank or think they're going to get a fun rank sometime soon. I understand your points, but there can also be more exclusive mini-ranks. My argument is that larger ranks should be reserved for, well, actual ranks. It was cool when we had only a few fun ranks, but now there's too many and it's just as meaningless as a mini-rank, if that's what you want to call it.

Distinguishing between the two will make sure no one confuses a fun rank for something only trusted people have, etc.

But I digress, if there's this much opposition to this suggestion, then there's no point in changing it.

 

I don't care too much about fun ranks, the suggestion is fine with me. Fun rank is basically another way of saying that you are ex-staff or sucked an admin's dick until he gave it to you.

 

Ehh, sorry but this doesn't get support from me. They could possibly become a sign of trust as anything that goes up in the user infopane around the ranks does so and it is what new members mostly look at. Second it really destroys the purpose of trying to actually achieve a fun rank.

No I think mini ranks are too easy to get for a mini rank. They're called fun ranks for a reason.

 

The name "Fun-ranks" doesnt really seem apropriate since they arent given out for fun, they are reserved and given out to those deemed deserving. There should be guidelines or requirments on how we could earn them or like a new set of "Tier 1 Fun Ranks" Where like 5000 posts or 250 vouches or 5 Suggestions approved or 50 Ban Evaders caught = Tier 1 Fun rank. Right now the average joe has no chance of getting them.

They're two different things, one being easier to attain. It's also just for fun so I really don't think it matters.
