    is there an option on Photoshop cs6 to put the background in the back of the text (I put the text first and then the image but want my image back... how can I do that)

    Sounds to me like you need some basic Photoshop knowledge, don't take this personally we've all been there. There is this thing called layers in Photoshop. The window for it is at the bottom right of your screen. Drag the layer with your background on it to the bottom! I would recommend you to look up some Photoshop general tutorials.

    Umm? are you trying to do a clipping mask? try butting the background over the text right click the background layer and select create clipping mask
