If you're going to have rules, make sure no one is above them; that's including your flaming & trolling moderators too. If they can break the rules in the spam forum, then every member should be able to as well. It's bullshit, I get infracted in the SPAM FORUM, because moderators aren't thick skinned, but when mods harass other members big time it's the "spam forum". What kind of fairness is that?



Exactly, it's the spam forum. So why am I and other members receiving infractions from it, when your mods are doing the same shit. Moderators are supposed to be setting examples for us members to follow. Either rules need to be changed or removed in the spam forum, because it's a major ridicule.

I don't like how Malakadang approaches the spam forum, when its seriously unfair, and how are moderators higher than members and they are allowed to flame without getting an infraction? Totally unfair.

i dont think its just that though, if a mod makes a single comment then nothing happens but if a member makes the same comment he/she gets infracted.

Infractions shouldn't be dealt out in the spam forum, imo. This was dealt with time and time again, even during Finn's term as admin. I guess Corey won't learn from Finn's mistakes but would rather be an idiot and do all the shit he did in the spam forum.

Also seriously, who the fuck infracts people in the spam forum. Do the shit Sellerman posted at the bottom of this page.

 

No moderator is going to infract another moderator but it does seem like the mods are selective even with regular members who they infract. If the staff are worried people are going to be offended make some kind of warning or something.

 

Why not have a poll as to whether the spam forum should be regulated or not. Meaning, no rules, no moderator infractions/locking of topics etc. If people can't handle the heat within that forum only, then they can ignore it (if no regulation is applied). Seems like everyone can have their say then.

 

I agree with seller, either have limitations or have none, you would probably have allot more dirty threads if there wasn't mode around to lock or delete them but it is the spam forum.

 

Agree with Seller, SF shouldn't be regulated at all, the point in it is that it's a place to muck about, and if anyone takes things seriously in there then they should just leave.

 

Spam forum should really be labeled Mature(18+) forum. People who go their should be expected to get the shit beat out of them (verbally). Even if it doesn't mean the people going there are 18, just have it as a title so people get less butthurt when they get made fun of (This is what the spam forum is for, not the suggestions forum lol)


Imo, anything goes in the spam forum. Unless you target someone directly and are constantly trying to make that user feel like shit/make fun of him, that's the only exception, it honestly annoys me.

 

oh my god its so fucking stupid to infract people in spam forum. not once when i was a moderator it even crossed my mind. the OP just shows how hypocritical some of the staff are operating after the whole Elena ordeal.

i cant even count how many times spam forum flame has been discussed over the years. because there's always one dickhead moderator that emerges who likes to get personal and take rules into his own hands. the best solution is to just let it be, as said many times in the past.


there was meant to be some sort of resolve like 2 months ago concerning spam forum rules that apparently staff were discussing in the staff lounge but that just seems like another load of bull. of course nothing has changed.

 

Yeah this needs to be addressed once and for all at it decided upon. I am all for making it not be regulated at all also.

 

Yep really needs to be addressed, becsuse the spam forum is being frowned upon because of infractions, they just should not be infracted for post, imo thats why its the spam and in the same aspect you members shoulnt even be reporting post in the spam you cry about getting infracted yet you report post kinda ironic. Im so fed up with the moderation in the spam im just thinking of calling it quits in there.

 

Actually, I tell everyone that it's the spam forum. Honestly, I disagree with most infractions given in the spam forum, but think some people need to harden the fuck up when they go in there.
