Today on SytheMonthly I would like to introduce a brand new competition! With all the heated debate and gender issues here at Sythe we thought the only proper competition would be a drag show, so without further ado here it is where the most handsome women on Sythe show off, facial hair and all.



And so the cycle continues, this being one of the many rebirths of the Sythe monthly. Here we give you a rundown of all of the events that have happened in the past month, interesting interviews, and hopefully a few laughs along the way. So we hope you enjoy the new Sythe Monthly brought to you by The Community Development Team.

Sythe Rule Reform!
Something new, indeed: Sythe himself opened up the gates to the changing of punishments and rules. Ever since his thread in Community General was posted, users have been posting SRR's all over the section. Beneficial changes have been made and new ideas are always welcome through this system of reform!

VB4 Update
After the situation was taken to the community, the update to VB4 was cancelled due to new research on the upgrade. View the poll made by Sythe here.

Massive unbans

Staff Interview:

Starting with the basics, how did you find Sythe and what were your intentions upon joining?

Google search. I wanted to buy Runescape membership via RSGP, as I was unaware at that time what PayPal was and what were its uses, and that it could be used to purchase Runescape membership.


You've been around for a while now. What has kept you around all these years?

Well for a long time I was just in it for the money. I would flip rares/mint cakes, which lead me into free-trade gold selling/buying. Even while I was making money, I had an interest in helping others get started, which lead to my position as an UE (User Education) member. After PayPal closed me down, I still used Sythe, but I couldn't trade gold anymore, yet was still interested in helping out the community. So I was less active, but more helpful and community orientated, with a decrease in market activity. Another contributing factor was being promoted to Staff and acquiring the OMM rank, which has definitely been a major part of my time on Sythe.org. After I got promoted to staff, I was able to further help people, actively catch ban evaders, handle scam reports and disputes. I really enjoy being a staff member and I like to think that I help make Sythe a safer place.


What did you think when you were first promoted?

I had been wanting to be promoted for a long time, it was a fairly unreal moment when I actually was.


What are your main interests outside of Sythe? What do you enjoy doing?

I actively play poker whenever I have the time. Being a student keeps me busy aswell.


Do you work at the moment or have any sources of income?

No.


Describe yourself in three words?

Mad Ballin Playa.


What was the strangest thing that has happened to you?

Saw a homeless man on the street, wound up buying a copy of Hunger Games on DVD from him.


What are your plans for your future on Sythe?

I had a lot of fun working with the Community Development Team on the scavenger hunt. I'm looking to continue helping out with future events in additional to usual moderating duties.

A new official Middleman!
After completing his third official middleman application TheBlackTux, also known as Diego, was finally promoted. After generating over 1000 vouches and being an active donation handler for a long time, this was well deserved. Congratulations.

A new moderator
Wolfdog was promoted to Runescape moderator. Wolfdog has been a member since May 09 and actively plays Runescape. Congrats man.

A Resignation
In December, Tmoe managed a vanishing act. He is no longer a moderator and Dave has obtained Community Permissions to keep that section under wraps. Best of luck Tmoe in your future endeavors.

Hey Deathsnova, thanks for letting us interview you. We'll start with the standard opening question.
What first brought you to Sythe and what were your intentions upon joining?

Deathsnova:
Okay bitch this is how I'm gonna run the interview.

Sit your ass down and prepare to have your five senses stimulated as I WOW you with my amazing editorials.

My close friend Dalpra, who was in grade seven with me at the time introduced me to Sythe as a "Black market where people sold RuneScape gold and accounts". we had both been playing RuneScape for a few years by this time. He had already made a name for himself on Sythe and therefore had intentions whereas I was only signing up to see what the big fuss was about. At this stage, I was really in to buying gold and runes for my account. I used my mum's credit card to buy gold from websites, it was around 1$/M back then, quite expensive. I never did any trading on Sythe at that stage.

You've stuck around quite a while then!
What would you say have been the best and worst moments of your Sythe career?

Deathsnova:
The best moment for me was when I completed 50+ RuneScape questing orders as well as a notable donation from Dalpra, I had enough money to buy a Santa hat. This meant a lot to a RuneScape veteran of eight years, as if I ever needed some money fast, I could sell it for at least 100$.

My worst moment on Sythe has got to be the year 2011. The grand majority of faggots on Sythe joined in that year. It has to be honestly Sythe's worst year for members. There have been 15+ teenagers who have joined that year who have notably impacted Sythe for the worst. I hate them all.


RwmRS2:
It's fair to say you're a Spam Forum veteran, but you have caused some controversy between other users.
What advice would you give to one of these "2011 faggots" thinking of taking part in the Spam Forum for the first time?

Deathsnova:
I would tell them to suck my dick first of all.

And secondly, I would tell them as they gag on my dick: "Create your own identity." We don't need 200 Syed's going around copying each other and jizzing in each other's throats. Please come up with your own funny insults and do not jump on the "hate X" bandwagon.

As they come up for air from the base of my cock, I whisper gently to them "no, no".

Also I advise that they lurk the Spam Forum a bit and have a few months on Sythe before immediately becoming the next sheep-hater or "Sheepee". I have cancelled many a trade with people because they were an ass to me in at least one post in the Spam Forum.

Speaking of creating an identity, you were recently voted "Biggest asshole" and "Most annoying member of 2012" in the Sythe Awards.
Was it your intention to come across like this?


Deathsnova:
I honestly didn't create my Sythe account with the intention of trolling everyone on the website or becoming some sort of mystery that everyone hated and new people had to question. I guess if you defend yourself once too often, you're branded as a troll, a bullshitter or a trouble maker.

I've become some sort of hate martyr, absorbing the majority of the shit people spew out on this site. I'm like a sort of batman, the dark knight of Sythe.

You spent some time on the staff here at Sythe. Tell us about it.

Deathsnova:
Hahaha, yeah. In 2008 I was officially promoted to Head User Educator. For those new to Sythe, it was basically a free guides section where, instead of ripping people off and forcing people to pay money for something that should be free, we willingly created free picture guides on different aspects of Sythe.

Oldies may remember Dalpra's guide on "How to make a vegemite sandwich" or my guide on "How to get laid, fast!"

My time on staff was both abrupt and interesting. I saw, first hand, how corruption spread and dominated through the people that I thought I could trust. It was interesting, though, to see how the staff lounge works, getting to suggest who I thought should become mod next or searching my enemies' posts for half an hour just to find infraction worthy posts.

I had high hopes of becoming a global moderator and further on- an admin. Heh, its a little known fact I was running this shit before FireZ was even a member of the site.

In three words, my time on staff could be described as:
The time of realisation, recommendation and absolution.

Something at school like an assignment or exams kept me off of Sythe for a bit, that's when I was demoted after a month of inactivity.

My favourites on staff were:
Skele, Pokemoners, OldFinn, Sin666, Dalpra, Josh0is0here, SMR!, Scotty<3, Louis and Clashfan.


RwmRS2:
Do you see a second promotion in the future? And if so, would you like to have the opportunity to be on staff again?

Deathsnova:
People think I'm joking but I have full intentions of becoming a Sythe moderator, although every post I make seems to set me back a notch. Also, a lot have people have said they will take their own lives if "some 17 year old becomes a moderator on a black-market, RuneScape website". I don't know if Govind wants that on his concious. I know how Sythe works inside and out, so I will not stand by and watch 2011, 14 year olds such as x339 or Brendan swallow more cum than me to get mod.

What are your future plans on Sythe?

Deathsnova:
My future plans on Sythe are basically to keep on keeping on; right now I'm running a LoL power-leveling service that I hope can expand and become a bigger, potential market; ultimately, if I could achieve LoL mod from helping in that section and becoming an expert in that field then 100% of my focus would go to doing so. But in reality they'd give it to a dick sucking 2012 member who hasn't touched the game.

My future intentions if another moderator position doesn't fly my way would be to give the Spam Forum one last troll and shut up shop forever on Sythe.org - but that may be a few months away yet.

• This month's member of the month went through with the addition of the Artist of the Month rank and the introduction of anonymous voting. • We didn't die. This is more of world news but if we all died, sythe would be pretty boring. The Mayan's incorrectly prophecised the end of the world. Scientists assured us prior that nothing would happen but that didn't stop several people with questionable intelligence from praying at Mayan temples to try and prevent the disastrous event they thought would occur.

Conclusion

So we all survived the Mayan Apocalypse, found out there really are women on the internet, and that Vb4 isn't actually coming. It has been quite a month, with many events and this is just the beginning of a new year.
