Anyone know what the fastest way to get 99 fletching?

Hi guys, I've just returned to RS, Looking to complete my skilling targets, Only skill i have left to get 99 is fletching. I'm not overly rich on RuneScape anymore, so just wondering what's the fastest method without losing 10M+?

 

Yew shieldbows, should make a profit.

 

Is that stringing them as well?

 

Yes. Craft the longbows than string them and sell them on ge or high alch them for magic xp.

 

Only stringing makes 30gp profit.

Cutting and stringing is 13gp profit.

Just cutting is a 17gp loss.

Not sure how it is anymore but maple longs (u) were good before eoc came out i think there called shieldbows now..

 

Yeah, i'm just doing yew shield bows. Stringing them aswel, Little profit, no loss.

 

Yew shieldbows are the best for saving cash, but magic shieldbows give the most xp.

 

From 85-99 doing magic shield bows, Crafting them to bows then stringing them, do you know how much i'd lose? Thanks!

He PM'ed me, and I've replied with a method, showing he'd lose 2.7M doing Mage Shieldbows to 99 from logs, and 700k doing them from Shieldbow (u)'s. This is answered, reported for lock.

 

As soon as I could, I strung magic longbows. I made profit and it went by pretty fast. I don't know anyone else who enjoys Fletching as much as I, though, and I don't think you'd make profit now. I got 99 early 2012.

Yew Sheildbows(u) but if you want to make money just string the bows afterwords.
