iPod - iPad - iPad Mini

So I would like to buy either:

iPod Touch 5th Gen 32gb

or

iPad 2 or 3 wifi 32gb

or

iPad mini wifi 16gb

I found this chart and it's quite helpful but now I need youse'uns to help me decide which shall I buy.. I'm sitting on the fence of all of them but I just can't decide and I want other's speculations on them all

 

I'd go with 3rd gen iPad over the others! That's your best option. I guess money isn't an issue?

 

No money is not an issue.. I like running though and I doubt I could carry that with me while I run and work out so I'm leaning toward ipod but idk

 

Why not just get an iPhone? I don't see much point in an iPod when you can do the exact same thing on a iPhone only difference is you can't call

 

Just started a plan about a month ago and got a galaxy s3 so in contract for 2 years unless i break loose for buttload of money.. but I want an apple product but not sure which one of those

 

Then go for an iPod, get your music on there and have a good workout!

i just got an ipod touch 5th gen recently, honestly id say its the best. I dont like the size of ipads though, so if you do that might be the better choice. idk what an ipad mini looks like, i really dont even know the difference between the touch and ipad xcept that the ipad is way to big for my taste. so if the ipad is a better system and the ipad mini is around the size of the touch, not to much smaller, not bigger, id say go for that.

 

Ok, I don't own either of the 3 but I wouldn't be taking an iPad Mini. It might look nice to have but it doesn't have a retina display like a normal iPad 3 has. Thus the quality of the colors will be less sharp. I saw a review of the iPad mini and i could see the pixels(on close up), retina displays won't have that it's supersharp & has the best quality you can get.

About the iPod 5th gen, I went to visit an Apple reseller last week. I already had an iPhone 5 myself but I just wanted to take a look at the other stuff. I have to say I'm very impressed by the sexy design of the iPod 5th Gen. They come in different colors, but all of those look stunning! If I didn't have an iPhone 5 , I might even have taken an iPod just because it looks so good.

In the end it all comes down to what you'll enjoy having most and what is going to benefit you most on a long term, an iPad or an iPod? Up to you to decide this one ;P

I'd go with an iPad 4 (the one with the Lightning connector) + if money's not an object, then buy a separate iPod Shuffle for running?

 

These three products really annoy me, in the sense that they are all just different sizes of the same thing lol !?

But if I had to choose one from experience, I really like the iPad's .. my girlfriend has an iPad 2 and I enjoy using that.

 

The only thing I that's preventing me from getting an ipad right away is that I don't have constant wireless internet.. I live in country so my internet is by 3g mobile hotspot that I get a certain gb usage/month and means on select days I can't use it to save the gb usage.. so I won't have internet on it 24/7

 

Wait for iPad Mini 2 with A6X/Retina screen.
Really like the size you can hold it in one hand and control it with the other without problems.

According to rumours it might come out together with the iPad 5 between March-May 2013.

 

Here's my take on it for you.
I've personally used all three of these products/and or own them.

iPod 5 - Get this if you want it to be portable, you said you would work out and so this is really good for portability and to listen to music, etc. No one's gonna carry a fuckin iPad around to work out, it's ridiculous even if it's the iPad Mini.

iPad 2/3 - I have an iPad 3 and it's amazing but my main use for it is to stream videos/Netflix. Other then that, it's the same thing as an iPod but you can play "HD" games and it's a bigger screen. It's fun if you like to play games and stream movies.

iPad Mini - My dad currently owns an iPad Mini and it's really good. My main use for it is also the easier portability then an iPad but it can not beat portability of an iPod 5. So my suggestion is if you like this to stream movies/play games but also have some portability of carrying it around easier. This is your choice.

From out of the three you said and your situation, I still recommend the iPod 5th Gen.

 

The newest iPad would be your best option, that's if money isn't an issue (like you said it wasn't). IF you have the money to get it, then why the hell would you even consider anything else lol.
