Gaining private messages?

For the past few weeks, I've been deleting old private messages so I have around 800-900/1000, but then I'll receive one more message and I'll then have 1180 messages. This has happened a few times... The private messages un-delete themselves. 0.0

Has anyone else been having this issue?

 

Odd. Let me delete some of mine and see what happens.

I don't see a possible way for this issue to happen, I don't think the database has a cache itself. It would be the webserver or your computer.

I'd like the input on admins though.

 

I deleted mine a couple hours ago and have received messages since then. No issue .

 

Perhaps it is just a problem with his usergroup?

Other then that I don't know what to think, I've got no issue either.

 

The only problem I could see is an issue w/ the servers updating properly as there's several of them. As I'm sure some of you have noticed, sometimes the "Show last post" button doesn't properly work, and instead brings you to a random post in the thread, rather than the most recent. This could be a similar effect, although I cannot say for sure, especially since no one's yet been able to duplicate the issue.

 

I am not, and never had any similar issues.
