    Yeah it would be nice to get the search function back up and running, if the servers can bear it that is.

    I think notifications for infractions are important. Infractions only work was warnings if the person knows about them. Full support on that one.

    Good work Roary in compiling all these threads!

    The time format is alright, what I'd like to see done is the dates changed so we aren't all trying to decipher the american format of Month-Day-Year, where a lot of other places use Day-Month-Year

    There are a lot of posts on this forum. For search to work without gumming everything up we'd need to prune extensively. I have done this (pruning) previously and it was disastrous for our Google rankings. After I restored the pruned threads our ranking slowly came back up.

    It's not a matter of just getting more servers. We already have 6 core servers. The bottleneck is IO. You want anyone to come in and search 10gb of database on a whim, it takes a lot of IO, and we need all the IO we have to just run the site normally.

    I'm not magic. I can't just make it work.
