BBC Code/Javascript not working at all!

This is so frustrating! None of the BBC codes work when I click on them so I have to type them in manually, which I forget the commands!

Also I can not click on Quick Links > My posts still.

Any help? Sythe is rendered unusable atm for me.

 

BBCode* and it's working for me, not sure why it's not working for you.

Although I do remember it not working yesterday.

 

Damn, still not working for me. I hope it gets fixed because I can't browse my posts or use BB Code, which sucks big time.

I want to view the runescape section but because javascript isn't working on sythe, I can't show it (its minimized from my home page).

I noticed that when I clicked on Quick Links, it takes me to:

http://www.sythe.org/?nojs=1#usercptools

Which is odd because javascript was working fine prior to this update..

 

Out of interest, what browser are you guys all using? I haven't had any problems with the BBCode.

BBCode seems to be working fine. Never had any problems with Javascript either. It might be an issue with your browser, like Laptop said.

Sorry, I may have not been clear but BBCode is working but when I want to click on any of the buttons (when making a post) it doesn't do anything. Right now, I am trying to click on one of the emotions but it is not inputting it into my post.

 

You probably disabled JavaScript.

 

Just to cover all the bases... You did restart your browser/computer right? I had the same exact issue a month or so ago and that fixed it.

 

Just restarted it and updated firefox. Same problem.

Still doesn't make sense why it takes me to http://www.sythe.org/?nojs=1#usercptools when I click on quick links, as javascript works.

 

Just out of curiosity, have you tried in a different browser?

 

Didn't think about that one. I tried Opera and it works there.

Just don't see why Firefox isn't working with Sythe when it was before the update.

 

You've disabled something in FireFox.

 

I'm a web developer and one of our services at my work involves a Java based client which lets clients FTP data to us and what-not over a secure session...

When people encounter similar problems the first question on the 'troubleshooting' list is "have you tried a different browser?" ...

I'm glad I could help.. But curios as to why FireFox is not working, have you tried disabling all unnecessary plug-ins restarting the browser and trying again afresh?

Have you got legacy versions of Javascript installed? Try removing them and restarting, see what happens?
