Cleaned yet happy :/

Finally got cleaned today, and it was an odd sort of relief when it happened. I've known for to long that I need to stop spending so much time on RS and hopefully this will be the final push to stop me.

Only thing that plays on my mind is how much better it would have been to have sold that GP. Oh well, I had a good run. Anyone been forced to/chosen to slow down or quit rs recently? If so why

How much did you get cleaned, shame as you said you couldn't have sold that RSGP.

 

I wish I could quit properly. EoC ruined it for me personally, just isn't the same and I'm getting tired of it slowly. Sorry to hear you got cleaned though.

 

I realized how much time I was spending on the game and how that time spent will never be worth it because runescape is only just a game. After that, I just said fuck this game, sold all my shit, and stopped playing.

Pics a little bit old but it's the only one I could find of roughly the same wealth that was all in cash.
In total it was about 250m less than what you see here.

 

That sucks, but you can't play a game forever, life goes on. Can't live on what ifs instead live on I wills. I know it sucks to think you could have had at least 500$ with all that sold but like I said it is good to quit, maybe play xbox 360 instead hehe

 

Sucks you got cleaned, but if it helps motivate you to quit, then that's good.

 

I have exams in January.. I want to max before Xmas though.. so in terms of slowing down yes I do need to also.. but i'll try to multitask.

 

Meh i dont mind playing.. When its only an hour a day at night then its not a big deal haha

 

I like to think of gp=irl cash, but if you're not too upset then maybe it's for the best. especially if you wouldn't have sold the gp anyway

Well I don't play as much since I got a girlfriend like 4 years ago, and then even less as I started college. I came back after over a year and a half of not playing only to find that I didn't understand anything really about the game so I would j ust hang out in the GE and skill as a non-member. Then, after EoC came out, I tried to log in again and I have no fucking clue how to work shit and what to do with these things.. Plus I know I'd have to buy a lot of GP to actually compete with anyone else so I figure it's not worth the hassle. There's more important things I can put my time and money into...

 

Sorry to hear you got cleaned, however if you did want to quit RS, hopefully you do now.

 

That's unlucky, sorry to hear you get cleaned. It will probably make you feel like shit for a good few days knowing you lost it and reminiscing on what it could of been like if you won/sold it. That's what happens with me anyway, and then a month later I am back to betting.

I can relate. One of my first trades on this site was around 2 years back it was 500k WoW gold or something for 1.1k usd. They charge backed the money but I didn't really care because I was cleaned on WoW and had no reason to go back to the game that absorbed years of my life lol.

 

Ouch. That's like $1000 gone. Surprising how quick you can lose it all.
However, if you'd had a good run, and you've enjoyed it, it shouldn't matter.
