PlayStation and Xbox Game Nights

So as we continue to search ways to get other sections involved and make sythe more then just a "Runescape" site. I was thinking especially sense Black Ops 2 has just come out , what if we set up a One Night for Xbox and one Night for Play Station where we can all get on and Play Games together. Doesn't have to necessarily be Black Ops 2. Was just throwing that out there just in case anyone is as addicted to it as me. Anyways back on topic. I feel like if there was more activity surrounding Play Station and Xbox, for example this game night. I feel like it may bring life to the section like if we made a subsection like "Game Night" Under the Play station and under the Xbox section and everyone could discuss how they did and how there teams did etc. Just throwing that out there let me know what you guys think. If it get's enough support then the CDT could take over and work on setting it all up and the nights etc.

 

Why don't you PM a member of the CDT and ask them - I'm all for it. I own both consoles, but you'd have to pick a relatively popular game we could all play. For xbox, perhaps Happy Wars is an option because it is a free xbl arcade game, and it isn't something like CoD where you either love it or hate it. You would have to try to find the best time that would compatible with as many users as possible if you did decide to do this.

 

^ Yes, I know. I mean the game doesn't have to be CoD was just more of a general statement, and We would have to get staffs approval for the subsections as well under each so we could all discuss how the game night went and that would help increase activity around the sections

 

Main point of my post was that rather than making a suggestions thread, you should contact a member of the CDT with your idea and try to make it happen/host it yourself.

I tried this a while back. Hard getting people to join due to time zones.

 

If you can manage to support a wide array of time zones I'll support because I'm up all hours of the night as it is.

 

Once I get my xbox set back up after xmas and have time I'll do something on the weekends. Prolly get gamefly and just do random games weekly.

With CDT, these type of events are happening now. CDT is always looking for new events so someone who wants an event like this might want to PM RwmRs2 and see if it's possible.
